Raung mountain has a height of 3344 mdpl and has a track that I think is really crazy. Yesterday time here, me and my friends had trapped the rain. Yes emang again the rainy season anyway, and the severity of the streets tuh many pacet! And I'm really afraid of pacet, eh not afraid but amused. ah udahlah straight to his journey aja ya!
The trip starts from Lempuyangan station around 19.30 on Wednesday April 21, 2018 to Gubeng at 02.00 on Thursday December 22, 2018. I departed alone from Jogja. and only one train ticket, and even then I have to ride the train twice and transit at Gubeng about 7 hours and continued to Banyuwangi at 09.00 am and until Banyuwangi around 01.30 noon.
on arrival at Kalibaru Station I immediately ride motorcycles to Bu Yanti basecamp at a cost of Rp.35.000, -. This basecamp is one of the famous basecamps in Raung. Because there own there are about 6 basecamp. and Bu Yanti basecamp this is the first basecamp that existed when Mount Raung first opened for climbing.
Oh yes, make up Mount Raung is usually packan so, or join the open trip, yes about Rp 500-800 thousand. it already includes guide services, climbing simtions, taxis basecamp PP - post 1, webing, other climbing tools and others in accordance with the agreement. Estimate the climb about 3 days 2 nights or 4 days 3 nights, depending on the weather anyway.
Arriving at the basecamp, around 3 pm Bu Yanti immediately greeted me with a smile. Hihi smile cool so miss mamak home hahaha. He immediately told me to make a meal. yes indeed plasticity if hungry face ya hahaha. udin, Bu Yanti's son one of my friends chatting in the basecamp while waiting for my friend's friend to come. And finally friends dateng friends around 9 pm .
The next day Friday, April 23, 2018 we are re-packing and ready to depart. Mas Yasin and Cak Yudi are our guide. At around 08.30 we immediately ride motorcycles to the post 1. Because the distance from the basecamp to the post 1 very far if taken by foot. not far from Bu Yanti basecamp we stop at first trip to take pictures in rainy weather.

Then we move on to post 1. And arrive there around 09.00.
Well, this 1st post is one of the houses belonging to an elderly mother who I also forgot her name. hihi. Here he is working on coffee that is famous Raung coffee delicious. after pausing and checking all the luggage, we immediately set off and started the ascent to the next post.
Coffee garden dominates the streets we pass before entering a very dense forest. yaaa this is because the livelihood of citizen foot of Raung Mountain is as coffee farmer. So yes a lot of coffee gengs gardens.
The track from heading 1 to post 2 is quite gentle, but the distance is loooh, very far away. It took 4 hours to reach post 2 (camp 2). yes see aja, we leave at 09.00 am, arrived at camp 2 around 12.00 noon.
Basecamp to rest tonight
Well camp 2 is quite wide, it can be enough for 15 tents and the tree is quite lush. because we pecel catfish (climber quickly fatigued and weak) new sampe here we just eat lunch that had been brought from basecamp. After a long period of rest, we continued the ascent to the next camp.
Here trekk is still quite gentle and occasional uphill. apesnya in the middle of the road to our camp 3 rain. The road is wet and really slippery, of course, make our way added long haha yes. And the trip to camp 3 this is how the pacat began to show its existence. About 2 hours walk we arrived at camp 3 .
Eitss do not seneng first, our goal is to the true peak, so we must climb to the top 17, then ngelewatin bridge of the mustard bottle, and rise to the true peak. well this is the real trip. where you have to keep focus on your footsteps, because on your left right there is enough chasms in the palace! You should also follow the guidance from your guide. webbing and carrabinner are important tools here. stones that you step on the stairs must be in the gate, please do not take the wrong steps.

After a long journey we get to the true peak approximately at 1 pm! imagine !!!! from camp 4 start at 1 night, until the real peak hour 1 pm. imagine the distance. This vow is really the craziest ride I think .
Above is not just a true peak loh, but there is a toothpick tops as well. Fyi, if you peak true, usually kalderanya ketutup fog, so if you want a photo must wait fog ilang first. well after we are satisfied take pictures on the real peak and top of the toothpick, around 2 pm we make mutusin down. the journey down from the true peak to the top of the flag is safe safe yaaa. then down from the top of the flag, we are washed down by a pretty heavy rain. although already wearing a jacket, yes it's still a little bit wet, and trekknya become more slick, already guns deh temen deh temen temen fell how many times wkwk. After a long way, we arrived at camp 4 around half past 7 pm. we want to go down, we just tired of all, and decided to camp 1 more night here, and down the next day. So our total climb for 4 days 3 nights .
