in #travel3 years ago

Hello Everyone.

The fun of going for a walk in the leisure of monotonous life is different. We go to different places of our choice at different times of the year.

The busyness of the present age, the rat race of all life, when our body and mind are filled with the fatigue and boredom of the same environment on a daily basis, then our mind wanders for the joy of a little liberation from that familiar surroundings. At that time, the mind needs to rest for a while and get rid of its fatigue and boredom and prepare for the next busyness of life.

Travel is a part of our current life that we can't deny. Travel refreshes our tired and dull minds with the touch of a magic wand. I am a traveling Bengali from beginning to end. Every year, I rush to find a way out of my busy life. So this year my travel destination is the enchanting Sundarbans.

The meaning of travel in life is not to end. Travel has a profound effect on both our body and mind. As a result of travel, on the one hand, our mind becomes refreshed by removing the fatigue and filth of life, on the other hand, our body also becomes full of freshness by overcoming all inertia. Travel is especially important in the treatment of various ailments.

That is why from ancient times till now doctors have been advising to travel before returning to normal life after recovering from many diseases. Moreover, travel teaches people to be thoughtful. Teaches to cope with the adverse conditions of life. In ancient times, kings would go hunting if they encountered any special adversity in running the kingdom. In this hunting, travel was more important than hunting.

Choosing the right place is crucial for gaining a beautiful travel experience. The place of travel depends on the mental condition of the traveler, physical ability, family situation, financial well-being etc. I usually like to take a break from the traditional life and go for a walk in the bosom of nature. Mountains, rivers, seas and jungles are all my favorite things.

However, if you want to go with your family, you have to choose a place to travel with special care. This time I chose the Sundarbans, which is very close to my home, as a place to visit. The Sundarbans is a wonderful combination of rivers, estuaries and forests. So what could be a more suitable place than the Sundarbans to spend a few days in the lap of nature nearby.

Our journey to the Sundarbans starts from Sealdah station. From here we reached Sonakhali launch ghat by bus or auto via Canning station by local train. From there we started to enter the Sundarbans little by little by launching. Since the launch, the scene has been changing from moment to moment.

After walking for a while, you can see different types of unnamed trees and the sweet sounds of birds coming from both sides of the river. As I glanced at the water from the launch, I saw the famous Gangetic dolphin, or colloquially called porpoise. Then when I got off the launch the sun was about to set in the western sky. It was a cold winter day.

The Sundarbans is rich in natural diversity. From our guide we came to know that about 350 species of plants are found in the Sundarbans which is spread across these two countries, India and Bangladesh. Most of these are mangrove plants. The next day I went out on a jungle safari and saw the sunlight falling on the ground through the gaps in the dense forest.

Unknown trees, the sounds of birds, and a strange magical silence surround the whole of nature. In the meantime, the plants with the root and the root have made the environment more magical. On the way I saw all kinds of beautiful flowers and herbs. I heard from the guide that there are many types of medicinal plants in this forest. Among the most captivating trees are the famous Sundari, Garan and Gewa trees.

Another important and integral part of the Sundarbans forest is the fauna here. The land of the Sundarbans is a paradise for different kinds of animals. Of particular note is the Royal Bengal Tiger. However, due to the significant reduction in the number of tigers at present, tigers are not easily spotted.

On the first day of the jungle safari we also did not see the tiger. But what fell in the eyes is no less. From a distance we saw the famous Chitra deer herd of the Sundarbans coming to the river to drink water; Strangely beautiful birds are flying from the branches of the tree.

With the help of our guide we saw a strangely beautiful chameleon on top of a tree. Besides, I saw gossip, how many more forest cats. On the way, I came to know that there are many very beautiful but terribly poisonous snakes in the forest of Sundarbans. It is imperative to keep guides and carbolic acid with you during travel to beware of them.

The next day of the jungle safari started our thrilling journey by water in the Sundarbans. The waterways of the Sundarbans are quite different from other places. Due to the proximity of the estuary, the biodiversity of the watershed is also very different from other places.

Thus, after spending a few days in the lap of nature in the Sundarbans, we came back to our own lives. We chose the waterway to return. That means returning to the city by launching directly from the Sundarbans. That experience was also strangely beautiful.

Those few days in this absolute shelter of nature provided me with the means to survive for the next whole year. Maybe that's why when I go to sleep in the soft bed of the city house tonight, the memory of that jungle night spent at lunch or seeing the tiger from the window of the tree-house on a full moon night comes to mind. This is the true meaning of burning up of bad psychic imprints.
