RE: A Quick Look At Durdle Door In Dorset UK.

in #travel4 years ago

Lots of similarities to "Goat Rock", in Jenner California It is not attached any longer, but still a hole in the rock, (kayakers love it), lots of little micro environment areas, and unique things on the beach also. I wonder how many similiar places there are, I have never seen nor heard of similar place along the Atlantic coast or the Gulf coast, of the United States.

I know there's none on the gulf coast as have travelled that stretch a lot. I grew up in Florida in part but have done the Caribbean as well as visited some locations in central america. It wouldn't surprise me though to see these types of formations somewhere like off the coast of Oregon or Washington state though. I've passed though both of those states, but never really made it to their coast lines sadly, but it wouldn't surprise me from photos I've seen of their coast lines. I'd of loved to have done more regarding photos of the location in the post, but people have gone all squirrely over here with the lock down lifted and it spoiled my fun.

I'm not sure if the lock down has made them more squirrely here, or if I just notice it more because of the mask, and the times. I try not to get people in pictures because you just never know how they are going to react.
