RE: Santichon Village - Pai, Thailand

in #travel6 years ago

Thailand has to be one of the top countries for Europeans. The food is delicious, the people are very friendly, social life is 10 times better. Meeting people is easy and everyone greets you with a smile.

My story is that I was not satisfied with my life back in Belgium. The whole “your job is your identity” and “live to work” mentality doesn’t suit me. I have been an explorer my whole life. I love doing new things, acquiring new skills and pushing my comfort zone. I’m a very creative person and Belgium was holding me back from being who I am. I had to cut myself loose.

I feel very similar. I was born and raised in the Eastern Europe but now I am living in the Western Europe and both sides of the continent are tiring me very much. I am also seasonal worker on the Scandinavia and very often I am taking the touristic destinations on the South of the Europe. But overall, I have enough and I probably it is my last year or two in this continent. I just need and want to make some bigger savings for my own safety in the first years in South-East Asia. What will future brings to me over there ? We will see :) Nice to see people online with the similar way of thinking :)
