Hi, Arthur! I had fun reading your article :) Good advice! I love hitchhiking and I have a few reasons. It is great to travel for free, but the best part is that you meet people and you give them the reason to be good people by picking you up! No kidding :D There are so many nice people around us, but if we are only using the GPS and the private cars we never get to meet them. In the end, they feel good because they helped another person and we feel great because there are still awesome nice people. We just have to find them! :)

Heey Eva, thank you a bunch for the comment!
Are you on the traveler's discord channel? I'm curious to know about your hitchhiking experiences and how do you feel about it from a woman's perspective, in terms of safety and all. I'll for sure check your blog once I find some spare time.
Exactly that, generally people pick us because they are curious to know about the adventures and all. It's also amazing how much I've learned from locals.
Little story, one day I was trying to hitchhike out of a city with a friend and an old car stopped, it was a guy. we entered the car and the man said that he wanted some company, because he had spent the night in hospital with his dad and wanted to have a little chat. That's what hitchhiking is all about, imho.
And because I'm a miserable broke backpacker hahahaha
hahah :) I've just joined the discord channel :) See you there :)
Awesome! I'm glad to see you there.
