Pilot trek to devakunda waterfall near Tamhini ghat, Pune- India

in #travel8 years ago

Journey begins at 6.30 AM IST from pune station. Me and my friend aditya are the only people on the road that time.

where it is..?
Place is 150 km from pune , after crossing tamhini ghat. Just go ahead for 20 km in the green village called "Bhira" , Jilha raigad.
Mumbai will be almost 50 to 60 km from the place . So mumbai people are planning to visit they can easily come back within a day.

How much to spend..?
I kept only 400 rs of petrol in my passion pro bike and that is very sufficient to travel along the place. the reason why this place is very good is , It is not much famous yet and you have trek for nearly 2 or 2.5 hr's to reach the place.
You will get a guide in the village itself and he will cost 100 rs per head to reach the waterfall.
Food is costly as compared to pune food price. You can egg om-late for 60 rs. Cigarate is bit costly , If you are a regular smoker please keep stock with you.

what you can see...?
In the journey you can see most amazing places like mulasi lake, tamhini ghat, hardest rainfall on hills, Fog, amazing roads, number of waterfalls etc.

Having some issue to upload pics. So I will reply on comments with the pics.
