It is thought that 720 or 730 - one for every day of the year, morning & evening - once resided in the precinct of Mut. Mut is a representation of 'mother'. She is seated in her power. Rather than Sekhmet who is standing as warrior. The Greeks translated the Egyptian word 'Neter' as 'Goddess' hence most people's understanding of the God's & Goddesses of Ancient Egypt. Yet 'Neter' meant nature. How different does that feel? So they are all different expressions of our nature & of nature. You would go to the precinct of Mut to get in touch with all the different aspects & energy of mother.
The Precinct of Mut is well worth a visit when you are in Luxor.
