Day 48 on the road in Thailand.
A country that has such amazing roads, butter smooth almost everywhere, but I guess Skye wanted more of an adventure and I ended up riding the trails of a National Park following Google maps and trying to find the guest house that Mike had found!
I was supposed to ride back to Chiang Mai, but I couldn't make it in time and I decided to follow Mike to the nearest town and leave early the next morning. It was almost dark when we reached the location, there was no guesthouse and all the riding in the mud, sand, water crossings and broken bridges went in vain.
But nevertheless we thought of camping by the bikes as we were surrounded by this amazing mountain range. We rode our bikes a little more till we found an abandoned hut which was perfect, as it looked like it was gonna rain. Luckily we had 2 litres of water and a bar of freeze dried space food😁 (if that's what's its called) that Mike was carrying.
As usual it was a fun adventure filled and tiring day and we woke up to a beautiful sunrise surrounded by fields of pumpkin and this was my first camping experience on this trip.
Wow! some rough riding! Amazing pictures!
Yeah some days are tough.... But gotta keep going.
Thank you 😊
