Langkawi is the largest of the 104 islands of the archipelago Langkawi in the Andaman Sea, North Malaysia. Only 4 islands from this archipelago are inhabited. The symbol of the island is the eagle.
They say that these brown-red eagles really live on the island. Besides eagles, the permanent inhabitants of the island are monkeys. There are a lot of them, they are everywhere and not at all afraid of people.
Monkeys do not hesitate to rummage in the garbage near the shopping mall or even visit your hotel room if you leave open window.
Monkeys live in flocks. And they feel that they are full masters of the island.
Langkawi Island is a wonderful place with beautiful nature. The population is not very much so there are many deserted quiet places.
It often happens that only monkeys meet on your way.

The macaques are nasty little devils, especially in Langkawi. :) I remember how they stole things from people's bags directly at the beach while they were swimming. Luckily, they didn't touch my things.
I like your first photos of the other monkey with the white face :)
Thank you)
They are so cute)
