Giant Sand Dunes in Mui Ne, Vietnam - You Can Even Go Sledding

in #travel7 years ago

About a 4 hour drive from Saigon (Ho Chi Minh) rests a quiet beach town called Mui Ne. The baches are beautiful, the beer is cheap, and best of all you can go sledding down giant sand dunes. You would think this formation was in the heart of Arabia but it lies in the tropics. A site to see if you ever make your way to Vietnamsanddunes1.jpg

What an amazing site. I was in a small part of HCMC last year and would never have expected something like this to be there at all, much less so close. I really loved that city and hope to return. This looks like a good place to put on my list if i travel beyond the city limits. Great pics :)

Thanks. I'm hoping to go back again soon

You're kidding. This is Vietnam???? How did they get sand dunes?

Not sure exactly but definitely worth seeing.
