I like to travel. I like to see different ways in which people live. In my youth I could not travel and you know very well the period and the context. My travels were made with movies, and my favourite places were rural France and London 60s (I do not know if you saw Blow-up, my favorite movie) Now I can travel but there are two inconveniences: my age and the cost.
As for my desire to travel, for me the travel is especially important where I feel good with my wife and where I have the impression that I am merging with the locals, that is a place where I would like to live. Where the lifestyle and landscape I like the most. I do not want to see the 7 wonders of the world, I do not want to see the wonders of architecture ... I want to see a simple life where I would love to live. For me, this place is called Thassos Island. For many it can be a commonplace ... for me it is a place where I would love to live eternity if it existed! My goal is to bother me with Thassos but I do not think it will happen.
