If money were no object; World's most exclusive places - Part 1

in #travel7 years ago

If money were no object, where would you live? Would you live in a penthouse in New York, a palace in the South of France or a mansion in Lake Como in Italy? For the world's wealthiest people, an island can also be a home. In fact, for many they call their own island a home. Others escape to islands in different parts of the world. In this first part of a series of posts exploring the world's most exclusive places, we will start with islands.

Necker Island, British Virgin Islands

The island is located on the north of Virgin Gorda, and is 74 acres. The island is owned by Richard Branson, and it operates as resort for around 34 guests. If you are interesting in staying there, the average price for two people is around $29,000 for seven nights. Of course you will receive royal treatment; the resort has 100 dedicated staff for their 34 guests staying on the island. And of course exquisite food cooked by top chefs.

Would you stay there if you had the money?
