The Family Tree Restaurant is located in Santaquin on main street. The food is good and the thing they are best known for is their Scones they are huge, probably 26 inches long and the honey butter is fantastic.
Some say the place is haunted but I have not seen any evidence of this claim
I am including The Family Tree Restaurant as part of the Payson area because as time goes on our towns are growing together. In the last couple of years the couple of years the Payson and Santaquin chamber of commerce have combined and they had a billboard announcing the merger, it said Payson & Santaquin Area Chamber of Commerce Working Together... Growing Together...
Dinner was great last night! I love the hometown feel of the Family Tree Restaurant. I love looking at all the old photographs that cover the walls. We were also served by the Great Grand Daughter of one of the women in a prominent photo. Very fun, good food and plenty to bring home for lunch the next day :)
