2 days was not enough but it was worth it.
Dumaguete for me is a paradise particularly VALENCIA. I heard a lot about Dumaguete. I am very eager to see more and to go.
My boyfriend once told me about this place and he said Valencia is very nice, So, when I heard about it why not go there one day? and it happened that @purepinay text me that she will be going to renew her passport in Dumaguete DFA and she will go by herself so I told my boyfriend that I want to go with her and he said YES!!(Gala na this) and really I want to go and explore Dumaguete and got the chance.....LUCKY ME!!!...
So, the night before the flight I couldn't sleep well because of my excitement. I woke up before my alarm!!Awesome right?
We arrived at the airport early and checked-in, Grabbed a hot drink and went straight to the assigned gate. Not too long, just waited less than 15 mins. and they called us for boarding.
On the Bus
Happy to be on the plane and the captain announced that we will arrive early. (Sounds Good!!)
Arrived safe and sound in Dumaguete and the morning is still young...hahaha.....We don't have any idea where to go?( Mga first timer eh!!) but Manong driver is so kind and very welcoming, so we asked him to drive us to the nearest beach where we can witness the Sunrise.
He took us to Rizal Boulevard. I was amazed at that place, people are nice, streets are very clean never saw rubbish in the streets, their place is immaculate.
We had a great time watching the Sunrise by the ocean. It was so relaxing.
On Our Day 1!!!
We just walked on the seashore and took pictures, we didn't go in the water because it was almost night time and we forgot to bring our swimsuit. So after walking and enjoying the view of the beach, we decided to have some drinks and we stop at PURAVIDA RESORT a very nice Resort.
@purepinay finished her appointment in DFA quick so we went to Dauin Beach after that. Took a tricycle 200 pesos going there, but going back we took the Bus which is 50php per person. Dauin is 20-25 mins away from Robinsons Mall.
I had buko juice and Gilaine had mango shake and then we ordered the Thai flat noodles for our dinner. They have good food and prices are reasonable. It was a great night spending time with Gilaine.
Dinner on the beach and waiting for the Blue Bloody Moon.
Day 2 our Last Day!!
I had a lot of fun on our last day, We didn't expect much going to a lot of places because of the time of our flight.
We contacted the same driver that took us to the Boulevard on our first day, we like him because he is good and he didn't rip off us. So called him and asked if how much to go to PULANGBATO, he gave us a price of 700php back and forth for the 2 of us and it was worth it. We ended up giving him 1000php. We didn't expect that he will drove us to many places. He was kind and a good driver and I talked to him a lot....hahaha....(chikadora si inday).
First stop was the TIERRA ALTA the place I called paradise. It's kinda like Maria Luisa Subdivision but I like it better. The view here is breathtaking and it seems like you are in a different country and it's really cool because they have a lot of pine trees, It makes the place even more Magnificent. OH!! their grass is so well-maintained and it looks super neat and clean the cleanest that I've ever seen in the Philippines. We had so much fun in this place. I so love the place so much that I said to myself if I become a millionaire I would buy a lot and built a house with swimming pool here!!. The view is just overwhelming.
\
Next stop is PULANGBATO FALLS in this place you can see two falls I just forgot to take a panorama sorry for that!. here are some of the great photos that I captured.
Isn't it Beautiful?
Stop by at the Hot Spring Going down. A small one but water is warm and so relaxing, we would love to go in the water but we didn't bring our swimsuit with us. We are envy of those people in the water....huhuhu....
Oh! before we go to our next and last destination I wanna share something about this very cool road it was so amazing forgot what they called this street but it's so interesting and cool. There is a mountain near this place and its smoking and when we passed by the road we heard the boiling water the driver told us that it is very hot that you can cook an egg. Wow!!
Last but not on the list, The CASARORO FALLS this fall is one of highest falls I've ever seen before. And to go to their you need to climb almost 700 steps and I'm telling you it is so scary that our knees were shaking until we reached the falls btw going to the falls was not that easy as what you think, well let just say it is adventurous and we love adventures right? Rocky road, climbing on a big stone and a tree that fell down, crossing a small river a lot of walking in wet stones just to get to the Falls but overall the experience was worth it.
That was my 2 days in Dumaguete and I would love to come back there:D
Your Gal,

I'm glad that you spent the day in there watching blue blood moon while I was somewhere and trying hard to get a good location to capture the best photo of the bloody moon. However I failed :'( That was really sad. The best part that I want to experience too the struggle in the waterfalls that you climb. Thank you for sharing with us your fun experience with Gilaine. I heard the city is very nice.
I have not been there
But I am planning to visit it.
Any recommendations?
It is nice and clean no traffic, peaceful and people are kind and warm .
I would recommend Valencia I love that place so much.
Great pictures and well written! Very nicely done. I quite like the Dumaguete City sign too. That makes me wonder how many cities have signs like this now? We have a similar sign in my city too.
Wow, what a beautiful sign 😍
Your picture of the Dumaguete sign gave me inspiration to write a Steem about the value of 3D signs towards Tourism. Thank you for the inspiration @bonjovey . Have a nice day.
Dumagethe place

I will love to visit there somedays this year.
