RE: Stone Relief Buddha In Okcheon-am Temple

in #travel6 years ago

Hi @slowwalker. Thank you so much for sharing your new experiences in Korea with us. I truly enjoy looking at your photos and remembering Korea. The colors in this temple's architecture is so beautiful. I am always intrigued by the detail in Korean traditional architecture, as you so beautifully photographed in your first and fourth picture.

In the second to last picture, the lady praying on the left, reminded me so much of a beautiful 선생님 I co-taught with in Daegu. I respected her so much. Whenever we went hiking, her clothing resembled the 아줌마 on the right - typical Korean hiking attire! :)

The angle of your third picture gives us perspective of the skill and craftsmanship that went into this stunning relief. Thank you for giving us that angle so we can appreciate it even more.

Please keep on sharing Korea with us!
