BTC is on a slow and steady move up. In the meantime I took a short break. We are visiting the city of Kranj and the nearby ski resort Krvavec.
I did a few ins and outs to and from USDT trying to catch every possible percentage but in the end it proved to be a tedious endeavor. I gave up and just loaded on btc 100%.
Right now I wonder what happens in the next day or two and watching alts. I don’t have time to follow many so I just put some conditional buy orders on ZEC, ETH and XRP in case they decide to move.
I’m trying to build my liquidity, both BTC and USD side. Best to have some available to pick up those bottoms! I wish my alt bags see some better days.
On the move from early morning. Slovenia is just a couple of hours away from Zagreb so no big deal really. I’ve had an excellent driver. Never drink and drive folks! It will get you killed.
First stop was a lovely lunch at a small restaurant Krištof at the outskirts of Kranj. Don’t get me wrong, the food is spectacularly made, feels cozy and homey inside, but the prices are outrageous. That’s what you get when you look at the charts all day long and don’t do your travel research.
I regained my composure when we found the city’s Beer Pub. Wonderful place all around, inside and out. Surroundings are artsy and home to some of the city’s alternative culture. Lots of beer options inside and I think it deserves another post. Stick to local brews I always say. When in Rome…
City from above is just breathtaking. River at the bottom and mighty Slovenian mountains on the horizon. I could live here! We visited the city art gallery and I will cover it in a separate entry as well. I know art isn’t really as appreciated subject but there is something sublime in it that I appreciate more as I get older. It feels good to put it in words here.
After a full day of walking, feasting and beer tasting we arrived to our accommodations. A medium sized hotel on a bargain price. Looks inviting and the service is beyond friendly. However there are stuffed dead animals everywhere. It’s a bit spooky, like a beginning of a horror movie.
Good night, and wish us luck!

I liked Slovenia a lot! Did a trip last summer and made Zagreb-Maribor trip one day. Maribor is very peaceful with some very nice pubs.
This beer and place I remember the most... Bevog kramah IPA in front of the post office of Maribor.
Wowzah!
Only you would go to a new place and instantly find the beer places. "P

Cheers to Preseren, I used to work and live in Kranj :)
Good luck indeed! It's good to see you get out and about and try something new, outside of your normal hangouts, even if you did get ripped off a bit doing it. I love finding and trying new places like that, but you always run the risk of paying more than you should. The area looks absolutely beautiful, so it was worth it just for that, it seems. Enjoy!
Nah, I don't mind. It's all a new experience.
Fun!!
Wow, you had a nice outing there, everything looks so beautiful, that statue is exceptional to me. The city is gonna be a bang. Nice job
I have a good feeling over the month of February and possibly March is going to be a great time to load up on some alts.
What an awesome place and the mountainside is just gorgeous. I also like to try the local beers anytime I'm out of town, nothing speaks more culture learning that drinking other countries' beers. Hope you enjoyed it.
brings back memories of my quick visit to Kranj if it is the city I am thinking of its only about 010 miles from Ljubljana isnt it, thats where i and a couple of colleagues were heading to but we ending up stopping in Kranj for munch and ended up spending a few hours and to many beers there and ended up sleeping the night there before continuing on
Yeah, pretty close! Good beer city!
I do remember having many a beer that night LOL
have fun buzz!!
I wish it's as sunny here as it is there!
not that it's not but more sun and heat would really help!
Hehe, it sure was nice. I was happy to see you commenting! :)
I don't understand people who like to show dead animals.

That scrap metal sculpture of ... is it a dragon? Really neat. Some time was put into that.
