El Nido Palawan is one of the topmost destination in the Philippines. It is known for its white-sand beaches, coral reefs, limestone cliffs and as the gateway to the Bacuit archipelago.Miniloc Island is famed for the clear waters of its Small and Big lagoons. Nearby Shimizu Island has fish-filled waters. The area has many dive sites, including Dilumacad Island’s long tunnel leading to an underwater cavern. Palawan is every beach lover’s dream destination and a wonderful and magical place for many people who have been there. In 2017, El Nido Palawan ranked 1st as “The Best World Island” in Time + Leisure Magazine.
Let me share with you our short but memorable experience in El Nido Palawan.
From Manila, there are daily flights going to Puerto Princessa via Airasia, Cebu Pacific and Philippine Airlines. We took an Airasia Airlines because there is a promo fare that time and it takes like 45 minutes from Manila to Puerto Princessa.
We arrived at 10 o clock in the morning at Puerto Princesa Airport. There are two bus companies (Cherry, Roro) that leave in the bus terminal but it will take 6 hours ride going to El Nido. There is another option you can ride a shuttle van that will take you for 4 hours if you don’t want to waste your time.
(tip: you need to bring some food and entertainment so you will not get bored for a long journey from Puerto Princesa or else you can sleep all the time).
After 2 hours of long drive, our driver stopped in a small restaurant and we took our lunch.
Accommodations:
El Nido is surrounded by many hotels. You have to choose a better place with the cheapest rate.
We stayed in Raje Residence. It is located along the highway and 3 minutes walk from El Nido Bus terminal and public market.
I'ts dinner time!
we are waiting for our tour guide to start for Island hopping.
Our first stop was in Big Lagoon.
Our next stop was in Simizu Island.....amazing place will invigorate you to explore the huge place.
that's our hospitable tour guide:)
a great place for snorkeling
It's Lunch time! this was all prepared by our tour guide.
Note: you need to swim to get in a hole, it's a small entrance and enough for a person to pass but you will enjoy once you entered in a hidden lagoon. The water is not that clear unlike the outside of the lagoon.
The Secret Lagoon is surrounded by high rock walls.
The last stopover... The 7 Commando Beach!
what a wonderful experience!
It's our last day in El Nido and we decided to try the Canopy Walk.
Inquiry area
Panoramic view from the top of the trails.
Going back to Manila. We had a lot of experience and treasured moments!

This place is gorgeously studded with breath-snatching limestone cliffs that cradle swirling mix of aquamarine water and gleaming talcum sand. I wish to be in that place one day.

I'm so proud I live in the Philippines.
Gorgeous location. It would be fascinating boating around those rocks.
I live in the Philippines and when it comes to tourism, I'd recommend Baguio as your next destination, we're not called "the summer capital of the Philippines" for nothing ;)
I've been in Baguio @siegellspenst and I also recommend the others to visit the place. I will post my adventure in Baguio later.
:)
