I live just 30km. from L'Estartit! I've gone sailing several times around the Illes Medes because friends of mine have a sailboat docked at the port. I have done snorkel there and it's amazing, lots of fish, beautiful place. It's also known as one of the best places to do scuba diving because there are several underwater caves under Les Illes Medes and marine fauna and flora is so rich.
