This boat just went by! How cool. It must have come through the lock on the dam! Really amazing and I just wanted to share.

I just did a little research and found out this boat travels from Astoria at the mouth of the Columbia River all the way to where I saw it docked yesterday in Clarkston/Lewiston. What an awesome trip that would be!

That boat has to pass through quite a few dams. Bonneville, John Day, Mcnary just to name a new.

How cool is that? I didn’t realize all the dams had locks. Don’t know why I didn’t know that, guess I just hadn’t thought about it. Have you ever been through one?

No I haven’t. It would defiantly be an experience. On the snake river there is Ice harbor, Lower monumental and I can’t think of the other ones off the top of my head. There are a ton!!

that looks like fun. how much does it cost and how long is the cruise?

It does look like it would be fun! I’ve always wanted to do some river cruises. The ones in Europe look awesome. I’m not sure the details on this cruise but I read on You Tube it takes 5 days.

How neat! That would be a fun trip!

Wow really nice. I would like to ride on one of those also.

Oh, that would be a great trip! Looks like spring is abustin' out there! We have a storm rolling in at the moment.

It’s been a mix of rain and sun. There are lilacs all over the park and they are starting to bloom. I love spring. I’m told it gets really hot here’s in the summer. I can’t wait!

We have toyed with moving back up there, we REALLY liked living there. Enough winter to kill off the nastiest bugs, but not so much that you have to buy snow blowers and generators and such...

I had never been to this area before last week. It is really nice. Where up here did you guys live?
