Nomading along the Turkish coast

A month after arriving in Istanbul, where I spent most of my time inside, co-working with my flat mate and getting take away dinner to eat at home, Turkey loosened the restrictions last week and suddenly Istanbul became the city I imagined it to be: millions of people and millions of cars on the street!

I'm not a big city girl, so I had to get out...

Luckily, a friend from Bansko passed through Istanbul at the same time, so I decided to go along on a little road trip! I haven't done a road trip in ages - the last one I remember was in Mexico 5 years ago.

So we flew to Dalaman and drove along the coast to visit a few villages on the way to Antalya.

The coast is beautiful, the sea is blue, and the sky, too - at least most of the times. If it's not, then it compensates for a few dark clouds with amazing rainbows and sunsets.

Tomorrow I'm going back to Istanbul to my friends, who suddenly started talking about going to Mexico... Who knows, I might find myself on a beach in Playa del Carmen by May! Not what I would have expected, but my word of the year is flexibility, so... I'm gonna go with the flow!

First I'm gonna have to make a detour through Bulgaria, though, since my new passport is waiting there for me at the embassy.
