in #travel7 years ago

Hey everyone, I am becoming rather passionate about showcasing Awesome South Africa tourist destinations. This is a cool little tea garden/restaurant in the North West called Tan Malies. The really cool thing about this is they serve traditional 'boerekos' as well as you can take your own meat and braai (bbq) your own with your family it is super and such an awesome concept.

The Setting is on the side of the crocodile river featuring the most amazing bird life, The perfect setting for birdwatchers! Upon entry you will be greeted with an oldschool Ox Wagon. So Nostalgic if you have studied South African history.

One of your best postings. Great stuff!!

Being Dutch the African writing is clear to me :-) I have visiting South Africa on my bucketlist. :-)

Haha and been South African Dutch is clear to me. I guess I can talk three languages ? :)

I used to live in Crete a very long time ago, and had a South African friend, her name was Susie, but when she spoke south African -Dutch I could hardly understand what she said, but reading it was fantastic :-) Your speak languages are partly mine too only I can oh YOU can too add a language at your list! Flemish! In Belgium, they have two languages, French and Dutch, but the French side does not like the Flemish and the Flemish do not like the French :-) Flemish is the same as Dutch! only with softer pronunciation, and many words that we in the Dutch language just use spoken out in English, they translate or vice versa. :-) So you speak 4 :-)
