I really love some of these creative, bizarre and quirky houses.
I really like what the Icelanders are doing, where they use the earth’s natural dirt to insulate their homes, which means once the grass starts growing, you’re blending in with the landscape beautifully. Also bear in mind that building materials are not easy to come by in more remote areas, so this is the perfect solution.

I never tire of seeing these unique dwellings! The antithesis of the 60's folk song about track housing/housing developments, "Little Boxes" ("little boxes on the hillside, little boxes made of ticky tacky, little boxes on the hillside, little boxes, all they all look just the same.")
