  1. Bathrobe. It's really nice to have one, especially when you are sharing a bathroom with other people.

  2. Dry bag. It's always good to have a small bag for day trips, it's even better if that bag happens to be waterproof in case you need to protect electronics from rain.

  3. Multi-tool. It definitely comes in handy every once in a while.

4 .First aid kit. A small cheap one will suffice.

  1. Plug-in adaptor. Many countries have different kinds of outlets and if you're traveling with electronics it's important to have the right adaptor. Another thing that's important to take note of is the voltage, along with different plug-ins, some countries have different voltage. Some electronic devices don't have a voltage adaptor. Make sure to read the instructions of your devices.

  2. Maps.me. This is a travel app. It was actually referred to me by my cousin, we have tried it and found it to be extremely useful. This app is similar to Google maps with exception that it can function without wifi. Just to clarify, you will need wifi to initally download the map of the city you're in.

  3. Acetaminophen/Tylenol. It's terrible to have to endure a headache while trying to enjoy your vacation.

  4. Copies of documents. Immigration officers may ask for proof of sufficient funds, booked reservations for accommodations and an exit flight.

  5. Good shoes. I don't mean fancy/dressy shoes, I mean good quality and very comfortable. While traveling you're going to have to do a LOT of walking. That's why it's important to have appropriate footwear. I suggest a nice pair of hiking boots.

  6. Toilet paper. Some places simply don't have it, some make you pay for it and some places just run out. Always good to have a backup roll.
