You may have seen fountains more than one during travel or in movies. Somewhere due to its beauty, some are famous because of their astounding cravings. But today we are telling you about the different fountain of which you have neither heard nor thought about it.
Every 24-hours wine flows (red wine) from the fountain and visitors can enjoy it for free. Yes, now this wine fountain is slowly becoming quite popular among the tourists. There may be no such thing as a free lunch but in Italy, visitors can top up their bottles with wine without paying any money.

The fountain is situated in Caldari di Ortona, a commune in the Abruzzo region of Italy. The Abruzzo region is known for its red wines, made from the Montepulciano d'Abruzzo grape.
The cantina Dora Sarchese of Rome have opened for their tourists visiting the Wine Fountain. People who come here can drink red wine at any time from this fountain. They do not even need to pay them for this. It was a joint project between the owner of Dora Sarchese winery, Nicola D'Auria, and Cammino di San Tommaso, which promotes the pilgrimage route in the region. It's intended as a 'gift' to St Thomas, one of Jesus' disciples, whose relics are kept at the cathedral in Ortona.
This wine fountain made in the campus of Dora Surches has a tap in the shape of wine, from which red wine comes out. Apart from this, there is a big waterfall out of which the wine keeps falling. However, before this wine fountains have been opened in Rome.
Many such sinks have been made here, from where people can take red wine to enjoy. Wines are available for tourists in Fountain 24 hours a day.The structure was designed by local architect Rocco Valentini, who used recycled materials to create the installation. Wine is dispensed from button operated taps, which are installed over a stone basin while the whole fountain is situated inside a giant wine barrel.
Visitors will be able to access the wine fountain any time the winery is open and by appointment only on weekends.
