WARNING: The use of images that are not your own on which you claim the ownership will be flagged and/or reported to @steemcleaners - HELPING TO STOP PLAGIARISM ON STEEMIT

Hello fellow Steemians,

I hope you are all having a great day! :) As usually, I am here with my daily photo challenge where you can submit your personal images from your travels to Prague and other locations in the Czech Republic in the comment section below.

The best 15 entries of the day will get my upvote. I will then pick the absolute winner of the day from these 15 photos. The winning photo will be awarded with a bigger upvote and it will also be featured as the cover image for the challenge post the next day to give the author of the winning shot some more exposure and publicity.

Don’t forget to add a short background story for your entry with at least 30 words and let me just remind you one more time that only personal images will be accepted in the challenge.

There were many great entries submitted in the yesterday Prague/Czech Republic photo challenge and I had a hard time picking the best one. After a deliberate consideration, however, I decided to choose the following entry by @davedavis91:

Mariina skála, last weekend. Hey all, I'd like to share this wonderful place with y'all. Another stunning piece of land in the Bohemian Switzerland. Not far from the parking lot, a few individual rocks break out of the forest. One of them has got a little hut on top ;) A beautiful place to watch the sunrise (and the red moon eclipse).

St Barbara's Church
The cathedral is must visit location in Kutna Hora, take a walk in surrounding area, discover the beauty and greatness of the historic buildings. Wonderful church. Both the outside and the inside are beautiful. The views are also really good, you can go to the second floor to enjoy them.

That is such an amazing place and I have some fond memories. Definitely a must visit place for anyone staying in Prague for few days as it is very convenient and cheap train ride outside Prague. Wonderful entry to feature in today's edition. Thank you and have a great day. Tomas

My pleasure buddy. Have a great time. Impi

Close-up of one of 30 statues and statuaries found on both sides of the Charles Bridge in Prague. Spanning over the Vltava River in the historic center of Prague, the Charles Bridge is one of the most famous and visited landmarks of the city and the Czech Republic.

Photo of the Kafka monument in Prague. This monument is next to the Spanish Synagogue in Josefov or the Jewish Town of Prague. It is based in the novel America, but it transmites the absurd that we find in his novels. In that novel a candidate for a politician position is carried by a giant during the campaign. It was done by the Czech artist Jeroslav Róna in 2003.
The sepia tone adds a different mood to the image.

Between 1948 and 1989, the Communist dictatorship was in the Czech Republic. Sometimes you find its remains - advertising stickers with ideological slogans.
If you see a somewhat collapsed banner somewhere, it can be a monument from another time.

Odlezelské jezero is the youngest Czech lake. This lake was created by the landslide of the Potvor Hill in May 1872. The lake is 500 meters long and the width is 70-100 meters. Depth is gradually decreasing due to clogging and it is possible that within a few decades the lake will disappear.

The Memorial to the Children Victims of the War in Lidice, Czech Republic is a bronze sculpture created by Marie Uchytilova. It commemorates a group of 82 children of Lidice who were gassed at Chełmno in the summer of 1942 during the World War Two. Work began on the memorial in 1980, but it was not until 2000, ten years after Uchytilova's death that it was completed by her husband.

History of Lidice
On 10 June 1942 the Nazis killed all 173 adult men and 52 women in Lidice as a reprisal for the assassination of Reich Protector Reinhard Heydrich. The village was razed, seventeen children who were considered suitable to be "Germanized" were removed, and the remaining women and children, separated, were sent to concentration camps. The children were gassed that summer in mobile vans at Chełmno.

The old town of Prague (on the Old Town Square) is really worth seeing. Be it the nearby St. Nicholas Church, or visit the town hall with its astronomical clock, which offers a small spectacle every hour, you will find many sights in one place. In addition, there are many delicious things to buy there, a tip is Prague ham, where you should compare exactly.

I was walking along the Vltava River that runs right through Prague and saw this angle that captures so many aspects of the city all in one photo. The river, the castle, bridges, trams, crowds, architecture, blue sky, even paddle boats.

You don’t always see so many tourists in one place/one town, but even amid the crowds, visiting it is totally worth it. The Old Town Square in Prague, as the rest of the town, is simply gorgeous!

Gorgeous Charles Bridge
Like a scene out of Universal Studios or Disney feels like you're in a wonderland what a wonderful place. Great views over the river from either side. Like something out of a disney fairytale. Make sure you go at sunset to get the best pixtures and enjoy the view.

Sedlec Ossuary
For the first time in my life I felt death. You could feel it all around. Even the air is different.
When you think of it, the amount of skulls and bones is unimaginable.
It literally gave me chills.

I fell in love in this gorgeous piece of land. Beautiful landscape and forest with grapevines and ruined castles. Mikulov- a truly amazing place to visit. Pálava a fantastic area to explore and enjoy. The countryside is a great choice for a trip. A glimpse of the castle's dawn. Friendly and cordial people.

The prague is such a most beautiful place. With red-roofed buildings, expansive bridges and cobbled streets, Prague is a visual delight. This is an ideal place to let go of the plugged-in world and get in touch with one beautiful city.

A vision of a building in the midst of Prague...! And the amazing lamppost in front of it is ˋthe cherry on top´ ~ 🌟🤗 ~
It is hard to NOT let your mind fall through ˋtime and space´ when walking through these streets... and be transported right back to Victorian times full of mystery and beauty ~ ✨ ~

Church of St. Salvator

Once again, you are rewarded with a lot more when you visit Charles Bridge. The church is located just before the beginning of one of the ends of the bridge. Unique, easy to find and a great place for great photos.

It is the opportunity to see these monuments that makes you fall in love with the city.

The front side view of the spectacular Saint Stephen Church, located in Kourim, Czech Republic. It has an octogonal platform and is covered with a lierne vault with a single pillar. Its look so beautiful.

Thanks for sharing @czechglobalhosts. The prague image contest is brilliant. I love it. This image and entry from @davidavis91 is pretty good. The red sky along with a moon on the horizon gives a perfect view. The greenery covered mountains are great too. I really like it.
