Hello fellow Steemians,

I hope you are all having a great day! :) As usually, I am here with my daily photo challenge where you can submit your personal images from your travels to Prague and other locations in the Czech Republic in the comment section below.

The best 15 entries of the day will get my upvote. I will then pick the absolute winner of the day from these 15 photos. The winning photo will be awarded with a bigger upvote and it will also be featured as the cover image for the challenge post the next day to give the author of the winning shot some more exposure and publicity.

Don’t forget to add a short background story for your entry with at least 30 words and let me just remind you one more time that only personal images will be accepted in the challenge.

There were many great entries submitted in the yesterday Prague/Czech Republic photo challenge and I had a hard time picking the best one. After a deliberate consideration, however, I decided to choose the following entry by @calisay:

View of Brno's Old Town, the largest Moravian city by population. The photo was taken from the hilltop after visiting the Spilberk Castle. The tower that you can see in the center of the photo is part of The Church of Saint Thomas and the Annunciation founded in the 14th century.

I rewarded @calisay winning entry with some extra upvote. Feel free to visit his blog and check out some of his other entries.

Thank you for your submissions. Have a great day and keep on Steeming!

Please feel free to check out some of my other recent posts.

Travel Tip: Dobris, picturesque town with magnificent Rococo chateau

Quote of the day: “No one would ever have crossed the ocean if he could have gotten off the ship in the storm.”

The lovely historic district of Kolín during thundery atmosphere ~ 🤗💖 ~ on our visit a few days ago we were happy to discover fetching flowery arrangements enhancing the beauty of this city on the ˋRiver Elbe´ about sixty miles outside of Prague ~ it truly is a bigger town were ancient beauty and busy modern life will {- hopefully -} meet peacefully in the middle :)

That sure captures the mood of the last week's weather. I don't think this part of the country has made it to the contest yet so this would be a perfect occasion to feature your image. Have a great day. Tomas

how splendid...! I am definitely most happy to offer impressions from this area that holds such strong meaning to me ~ 💞💞 ~ ! ~

View of the Hans Kudlich Look-out Tower located on a hill in the little Silesian village of Uvalno. Hans Kudlich was a prominent Czech-German politican who was born in Uvalno in 1823. The tower offers breathtaking view of the surroudning landscape.

Entrance to the Fitness Trail Rokytka, one of the best outdoor gyms in Prague. Located between the Prague districts of Liben and Hloubetin, the place features many work out stations for all muscle groups. There also several great jogging trails around Rokytka.

It's 73 years, when the last war that fought in our country ended. Thank God! This old anti-aircraft cover remained.
We can understand this as a reminder that peace is not everywhere today. We in the Central Europe have great luck ... Our problems that we have are actually quite small.

Mariánská Týnice with the Pilgrimage Church of the Annunciation of Virgin Mary is a former provost of the Cistercian monastery in Plasy in Mariánský Týnec near Kralovice, now serving as a Museum and Gallery of the North Pilsen region. Since 1958 it has been protected as a cultural monument of the Czech Republic.

The Charles Bridge offers a fabulous view of the river, Kampa Park and the castle. I enjoyed the musicians performing; a string duet and two different jazz bands. Pay the small amount to climb the tower and enjoy an even better view. The exhibit includes the tower and the basement, showing objects found under the bridge from various times in history. I liked the animated film telling the legend of the Prague Bridge.

At Vyssi Brod. Very beautiful place. It so aweome to visit here. Raveling on boat in river was so entertaining. Czech is a very beautiful place to visit. Natural beauty attract you to come here. It was lot of fun there.

No money was speared in the building of this St. Vitus Cathedral
Words cannot do the description of this man made magnifice any justice. It is worth the live visualization, especially if you are into architecture like me. By far the possibly the best cathedral in all of central Europe.

St. Vitus cathedral in Prague Castle front view of the main entrance in Prague, Czech Republic.
Most people who decide to visit Prague Castle come home with this picture because it is the classic view ... You can capture all the roofs of Hradcany, overlooking the Vltava River and its bridges.

National Technical Museum in Prague.
For over a hundred years extensive collections have been assembled here documenting the development of many technical fields, of the natural and exact sciences, and of industry in the territory of today’s Czech Republic.

This will always be one of my favorite squares in the whole world. Beautiful architecture and buildings. Plenty of lovely cafes and restaurants, and they aren’t even that expensive compared to other tourist areas. There is a lot of things see in all directions.

Sunset in Charles Bridge
It’s at the center of Prague very interesting during the night and daytime beautiful bridge iconic during the day it is beautiful but it must also be seeing it a night. To be careful however a lot of pickpockets opportunities. I especially liked it enjoying the artists along the Charles bridge to have some very high-quality art. And also put you in the center of the city.

Hi Steemians find here my today's contribution. Picture taken in Adrspach-Teplice Rock Town. It's not a town meaning a settlement built by people. This town is made naturally of huge rock formations that take the shape of pillars, columns, walls and labyrinths. What's more interesting almost every rock has its distinctive name, for example "the lovers", "the Johann Wolfgang" or this is "Mayor and Mayoress"
