Hello fellow Steemians,

I hope you are all having a great day! :) As usually, I am here with my daily photo challenge where you can submit your personal images from your travels to Prague and other locations in the Czech Republic in the comment section below.

The best 15 entries of the day will get my upvote. I will then pick the absolute winner of the day from these 15 photos. The winning photo will be awarded with a bigger upvote and it will also be featured as the cover image for the challenge post the next day to give the author of the winning shot some more exposure and publicity.

Don’t forget to add a short background story for your entry with at least 30 words and let me just remind you one more time that only personal images will be accepted in the challenge.

There were many great entries submitted in the yesterday Prague/Czech Republic photo challenge and I had a hard time picking the best one. After a deliberate consideration, however, I decided to choose the following entry by @peroo:

Cesky Krumlov. Very small and cozy city protected by UNESCO. Fairy-tale streets with old houses give the feeling of a stalled time. If possible, stay here for the night, I can only imagine what the city looks like at night and early in the morning, when there are not so many tourists. Those interested can ride a kayak on the local river, several options for routes, almost at the beginning of the route an interesting threshold will await you.

I rewarded @peroo entry with some extra upvote. Feel free to visit his blog and check out some of his other entries.

Thank you for your submissions. Have a great day and keep on Steeming!

National Museum as seen and captured from the Wenceslas Square in the center of Prague. Founded in 1818 by Kašpar Maria Šternberg and František Palacký, the National Museum now houses almost 14 million items from the areas of natural history, history, arts, music and librarianship, which are located in dozens of buildings.

Sun shining through trees in the Modřany Gully, a beautiful nature reserve found in the southern part of Prague. Covering approximately 125 ha, it serves as a popular recreational area as it offers a number of nice and well-maintained hiking and cycling trails.

We have decided to visit the old Jewish cemetery, because you hear again and again that the visit is worthwhile. That's exactly how we see it! The atmosphere and the atmosphere in this old cemetery is incredible. The countless gravestones that are built together almost overlap and the hills that have formed through the tombs give a fascinating look. The walk through the cemetery is definitely worth the visit.

St Bartholomew's Cathedral
You should climb up the church tower to get that special view if you have a chance. It's not expensive but of course there's no elevator so be ready for a fitness exercise :-). You better check the opening hours it might not be open all day long during the off season. If you are afraid of heights don't worry, there's a fence. You can see the church bells on your way up.

Prague Castle
It is a must visit place. We did a tour, but we believe that I did not exceed the expectations of what we expected in general of the place. It has its charm like all of Prague, but there are more beautiful things.

I just posted this impression in relations to another great contest @portraitcontest — then I thought why not here into this splendid gallery as well...! ~ Since it is taken in my favorite Czech village Konárovice where the magic is always very real...!
There is the basin of one ancient (— for my benefit momentarily turned off —) little fountain and of course the arcade in the background to be seen ~ ✨ ~

Like a mermaid emerging from her pearl :) Beautiful piece.

Thanks so much ~ ⭐️ ~ that certainly is most charming to notice :)

Cesky Krumlov
The picturesque historic town in a beautiful location in the south of the Czech Republic on the meandering Vltava River has to literally catch your heart. The place with such a genius loci is not really a lot in the Czech Republic!

The Astronomical Clock is a must see in Prague. It's so beautiful you can just look up and stare at it for a while. It's in a great spot to take some nice pictures, and there's a lot to do in the area. The clock itself is beautiful and you'll definitely admire the work that was put into it.

I love nothing more than crossing the stunning Charles Bridge and taking in the fantastic views of the majestic River Vltava and the statues that line the bridge as I walk into Stare Mesto ( Old Town ) and as you exit the bridge you are confronted by two of Pragues most beautiful churches namely St Francis Of Assisi Church and this church St Salvator Church, both are beautiful and are extremely popular tourist attractions.
St Salvator Church looks awesome with its ancient facade, the church has stood here for nearly 500 years and has some serious history attached to it,nowadays used mostly for organ concerts and the like it's still well worth checking out and taking in the stunning interior.

A wonderful cozy area with historic buildings is perfect for walking. This is where you can feel like a resident of a medieval city. Imagine how carts ride along winding streets, people walk, and above all this stands the castle - Cesky Krumlov. I think it's worth visiting this place if the story is interesting.

The monument to St. Wenceslas (Pomník svatého Václava) is an equestrian statue of Czech Prince Wenceslas the Holy (924-936) on Wenceslas Square in front of the National Museum in Prague, erected by Czech sculptor Joseph Vaclav Thought (1848-1922) in the style of monumental realism. The monument is one of the symbols of Prague and Czech statehood in general. In 1995, declared a national cultural monument of the Czech Republic.

There is little fertile soil in this area. Life was hard here. People prayed a lot. They often promised to build a cross when their goal was fulfilled. The landscape is full of similar crosses.
