Hello fellow Steemians,
I hope you are all having a great weekend! :) As usually, I am here with my daily photo challenge where you can submit your personal images from your travels to Prague and other locations in the Czech Republic in the comment section below.
The best 15 entries of the day will get my upvote. I will then pick the absolute winner of the day from these 15 photos. The winning photo will be awarded with a bigger upvote and it will also be featured as the cover image for the challenge post the next day to give the author of the winning shot some more exposure and publicity.
Don’t forget to add a short background story for your entry with at least 30 words and let me just remind you one more time that only personal images will be accepted in the challenge.
There were many great entries submitted in the yesterday Prague/Czech Republic photo challenge and I had a hard time picking the best one. After a deliberate consideration, however, I decided to choose the following entry by @lcdoreyes:
"Přehrada Les Království" When visiting the dam of Les Království, we recommend walking, at least in part, for this fabulous work of water. If you wish to extend the trip, leave your car in the nearby village of Bílá Třemešná, where it is possible to park freely. There is also a bus and train stop. "Enter" in the green tourist sign and the path takes you about 4 km to the levee dam. The trip back to White Trems is the same and a short walk around the reservoir will take you about 10 km, which takes around 3 hours. He prefers to have an aperitif with you, but there is no one to buy sodas.

I rewarded @lcdoreyes winning entry with some extra upvote. Feel free to visit his blog and check out some of his other entries.
Thank you for your submissions. Have a great day and keep on Steeming!
Please feel free to check out some of my other recent posts.

Sculpture of Jan Zizka, a prominent Czech army leader and warrior, riding a horse at the Vitkov National Monument in Prague. Measuring 9 m in height and 9.6 m in length, it is the third largest bronze sculpture in the world. It was installed on the Vitkov Hill in 1950 and has been one of the most iconic Prague sculptures ever since.
Awesome shot. Nice and majestic looking.
This is such a majestic landmark that needs some more attention and deserves to be featured as the main entry. Thank you so much for your contribution.
The highest watch tower of Trosky Castle - Amazing defensive abitily when You can see the incoming enemies from a far and have time to prepare the defence! I could live in such tower... watching the changing landscapes every day, every season...
What an amazing image. If you included a better commentary of the picture I would have picked it as the main entry. Tomas
Thanks for upvote, I didn't expect to be chosen so I didn't focused to write longer commentary, just a short info and my thoughts about it. Maybe next time ;). Good day!!
I dont remember the name of this sculpture, I tired to google it but for the life of me I can find it how. However I thought it was really cool to see what I believe to be hard working everyday men. I think this is also on a government building.
Church of St. Apolinair, Apolinářská Street, New Town, Prague 2. Photographed from Albertov slopes.
The church was built after 1360. It is interesting to preserve the original Gothic frescoes. The rest of the inventory fell victim to the Hussite movement. Fixed in Baroque style in the 17th century.
The photo is 18 days old. Today only the leaves of trees and the roof and the turret would be visible ...
It has become part and parcel of me that anytime i visit a new country or environment, the first place of visit is the castle. To know about their history and cultural heritage. This time i stood at the Brno castle which is on a high elevation. As i was enjoying the view, i made this shot so i can share with the world. Be a part of my world😊
As a person who is very interested with Astrology, this Astrological clock is very precious for me. For me it doesn’t only present something historical but also refers the wisdom..
It is one of the most beautiful Baroque buildings in the city, and is located near the Prague Zoo. It is surrounded by a magnificent French garden, and inside you can admire its beautiful frescoes and the exhibitions organized by the Prague Municipal Gallery. The permanent collection is dedicated to the history of Czech sculpture and the porcelain figures of Ernst Popp. Concerts are also organized.
St. Vitus Cathedral
An exceptional site with decorative elements of style
very different over the centuries, in relation to the history of the castle (interesting to discover in the basement of the royal palace). Two distinct parts externally and internally with Romanesque, neogothic, baroque, see Rococo! Fabulous stained glass that gives the sun a fabulous atmosphere with reflections on a mosaic wall. Admirable gold door, beautiful grid with bronze motifs.
Fantastic image! Thank you so much for sharing. Tomas
Not at All!
Beautiful village & have many nice view at český krumlov. One of the most beautiful city! Beautiful landscapes! People's are nice and friendly! One of the coolest and most rustic towns I’ve ever been. Its just amazing.
A dream town at karlovy vary. Beauty is all the way, Cleanliness and splendor. A beautiful city, existing in balance with the surrounding nature. Many ancient palaces. You can not explain this place, you have to live it, if it's much better in winter, but warm.
Sobotín is a village and municipality in Šumperk District in the Olomouc Region of the Czech Republic. One of the more important landmarks in the village include the Klein family mausoleum. Kleins were a family of German businesspeople who were very active in the life of the village. They were expelled after World War II together with the German population of the village.
As it is easy to guess the name of his Charles Bridge received from the ruler of the Czech Republic, and then the entire Roman Empire - Charles IV. But it happened much later - in 1870, and before that the bridge was called even easier - the Prague Bridge.
The location for the location was chosen not accidentally: here for a long time attempts were made to build bridges, but the former ones were destroyed by frequent floods or were fragile and disreputable. Strategically this is a very important place: the road that connects two important districts of the city - the center (Staré Mesto, where the Old Town Square is located) and the residence of the Czech rulers (Malá Strana, where the Prague Castle is located, now the presidential palace and St. Vitus Cathedral). Unlike the last Charles Bridge was built quite quickly - in just 50 years, but over the cathedral had to work more than one generation of architects - it was erected as much as 600 years!
Doors as a work of art
I do not know if you pay attention, but Prague is the owner of a huge number of art works - doors and gates. For many, these beautiful things seem to be something quite ordinary. At me they cause delight.
I talked with a one resident of Prague, the owner of the house near Charles Bridge. He proudly told me that he had restored the old door for his money. And now they can admire the guests of the city...
Our Country is very beautiful Country, these wonderful people at karlovy vary.We provide the all visitors to Great service & always respact the visitors. We have wonderful mineral waters and great treatments! This place like a Paradise! Wonderful place with a lovely tree!
Prague is the city of a thousand towers.
But for me. Prague is a green city in the world. Because during the praha city I see many more beautiful parks. Almost the whole place has a very beautiful garden. Many tourists walk past charles bridge and castle praha. I prefer to walk to visit the park.

This mosque has been built to create employment opportunities for the youth during India's famine. This large mosque, which is without pillars, remains intact for a long time.
