Lesser Town Bridge Tower, Prague. In those first few days in Prague, I returned again and again to the Charles Bridge. So much of the city’s history and character seemed to be encapsulated in that one remarkable structure that I photographed it repeatedly, from multiple angles. It was impossible not be charmed by the bridge and its history.

Valtice Castle. This fantastic palace is well worth a visit for those who enjoy beautiful interiors and unique architecture. Located right near the towns square there is plenty of paid parking available. The exterior of the entrance is sadly not in very good condition but the design plus garden is so lovely you almost don't notice it.

The view of Prague's famous St. Vitus Cathedral from the rooftop terrace of Hotel International Prague. On the photo you can see also red roofs of Prague's district of Dejvice. Moreover, on the left is a part of building that belongs to Ministry of Defence of the Czech Republic. And on the right is a white building of Czechoslovak Hussite Church.

Beautiful bridge, rich in history. It is nice to go there especially at dusk, the play of light highlights it as well as the monuments of the city. Its crossing remains an enchantment and allows to enjoy a magnificent urban panorama. The bridge spans the Vltava / Moldau and links the Old Town and Mala Strana, whose entrances are each marked by beautiful Gothic towers.

My entry about my first and only visit in Prague and Czech Republic years ago when I did not have yet a digital photo camera. (I had to make a scan copy). By the way anyone knows Starometska square in Prague. (The square of the old town). A must for anyone who came to this beautiful city.

This building was completed in 1996. With its wavy shapes, sloping pillars and non-aligned windows, this building is original and atypical. It is a bold architecture. The building merges two buildings, one of glass and steel with sensual curves, the other of slightly trapezoidal concrete. The two towers are reminiscent of a pair of intertwined dancers: a curved dancer clings to a man with a hat. Nicknamed Ginger and Fred (after Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers), the dancing house is to be seen. It is also called the drunk house. This building has become one of the emblems of the city.

I visited this place called Janohrad (it used to be a castle + also a hunting lodge) just a few weeks ago. It was a beautiful sunny day. A lot of people were enjoying the warm weather, having drings and food. I went there for a walk and to take a few pictures.

Originally a Dominican monastery from the 13th century, rebuilt in the Jesuit College in the 16th Century. From 1773 it belonged to the Prague University. Since then Library has the right to make a compulsory copy. There are always a few copies of each book that has been published in the Czech Republic since 1773. Unfortunately, the square in front of this entrance serves as a parking lot for an adjacent municipal building.

I spent 3 weeks in October 2016 traveling around Czech Republic by trains. Few days I had a chance to visit Czech Paradise, I was walking there almost alone, so I had time to sit for a while and just observe beautiful nature around me in silence.

I always share my photos from my travels. this is another view of the lednice castle, it is a very long building and well-decoroted. if you move straight pass this side, there is a long chamber where house plants are kept and that is where my interest is as a horticulturist.

We followed the steps of 'Machal' from famous Czech fairytale (S certy nejsou zerty) and visited The 'Pruhonice' castle. It is a great place to spend your afternoon.

Evening city. I made this photo saying goodbye to Cesky Krumlov. I spent only a few hours there. I really wanted to stay overnight and take a room in some small cozy hotel, take a mug of good Czech beer. But ... things could not wait.

I'd like to see some pictures of the the people of Prague. Is it just me or are these the most people people in the world? It seems nearly everyone I meet on the streets of Prague look like they could have stepped out of Vogue or GQ.
