I hope you are all having a great day! :) As usually, I am here with my daily photo challenge where you can submit your personal images from your travels to Prague and other locations in the Czech Republic in the comment section below.
The best 15 entries of the day will get my upvote. I will then pick the absolute winner of the day from these 15 photos. The winning photo will be awarded with a bigger upvote and it will also be featured as the cover image for the challenge post the next day to give the author of the winning shot some more exposure and publicity.
Don’t forget to add a short background story for your entry with at least 30 words and let me just remind you one more time that only personal images will be accepted in the challenge.
There were many great entries submitted in the yesterday Prague/Czech Republic photo challenge and I had a hard time picking the best one. After a deliberate consideration, however, I decided to choose the following entry by @softa:
View of the Monastery of the Red Cross, which is adjacent to the Charles Bridge. The dominant feature is the Baroque tower at the Church of St. Francis of Seraphim. This tower was built during the reconstruction of the monastery after the siege of the Swedes.

I recently spent some time at my parents´ cottage in the Czech countryside where I love to just grab my camera and head out into the fields, meadows and forests to enjoy some relax in nature. The weather was unusually windy and cloudy one afternoon but that did not stop me from sticking to my habit. Quite the opposite actually - I was eager to go out and take some nice dramatic shots of the sky and the landscape. Here is one of them. The meadow is located just outside of the village of Nove Lublice, Silesia.
I think it's time to feature beautiful Czech countryside once again:).... Thank you!
Last sunset in 2017 with views of Dolni Dunajovice and Pálava Hills. The weather was very acceptable that I could only enjoy this view in a sweatshirt. Although the wind was blowing, but it conjured pink clouds in the sky.
Yet another stunning image. Love that whole region!
Church of St. Anthony of Padua, Panská Lhota, Vysočina Region
There is a cemetery and a church almost in each of the older villages. Although it does not look interesting from outside, try to go inside. For example, in this church in 1841 you have a baroque organ from 1755 and another inventory transferred from other burnt or demolished churches from the neighborhood.
I like this picture because it is a different kind of panorama picture portraying Prague. In the background the Zizkow tower can be seen, a landmark some people love, but many people dislike strongly. But, if you like it or not, it still has the best view in all of Prague !
Today I would like to share with you another unussual view of Prague. It was taken from the streets of Hlubocepy while hiking on the top of Prokop valley. On the right side of the chimeney you can see Pankrac and Vysehrad on the left.

The place is huge and amazing. Full of wonderful people from all over the world. people doing business looking lost in the maze of people. sales people trying to get business. Everything runs like a movie on celluloid . small by lanes are enticing what is hidden in there. you always look in sheer amazement how they have held the place in such great shape. sit for a while and watch what is going on. Night view always best & good for romance!
Prague, of course, is an amazing city that can not help but like it. And on a detailed inspection of all the sights can take several days.
First of all, all tourists are obliged to visit Prague Castle - the historical core of Prague, the royal palace, built in the 11-13 centuries. On the territory of the Prague Castle there is also the presidential residence, which, however, does not prevent anyone from visiting it. The buildings of the castle are diverse and belong to different epochs .

The main purpose of the railway collection in establishing the museum was, as with most other areas, the documentation and promotion of contemporary railway technology. Leading Czech railway machines works, whose representatives were members of the relevant “department groups”, donated to the museum’s collection many samples of new or tested parts.
The Charles Bridge allows you to go from Stare Město or "Old Town" to Malá Strana or "the small side". It rests on 16 arches and is more than 500m long and 10 wide. Thirty statues, representing the great figures of the Church, are arranged on both sides. Two magnificent towers stand on each side.
From hotel, we take Karlova Street, which takes us to Křížovnické Square (Knights of the Cross), in front of the Gothic tower, at the entrance of Charles Bridge, leaving on our right the Holy Church Francis of Assisi (Františka) ... While walking in the neighborhood, we can admire some facades of building ...

I was not inside, I am commenting on the architecture visible from the outside. With all the old architecture to see in Prague, this is an interesting change of scenery. It is very unique and it's nice to get your own pictures of it. I just wish there wasn't so much traffic right around it.

Brw i still live in here. I am a student of Czech University of Life Scince in Prague. I'm here for my study.
The southern part of the region is predominantly flat and dominated by fields, meadows, and the remainders of riparian forests. The largest river of the region is the Morava river. Other significant rivers are the Dyje, Svratka (and its tributary the Svitava), which are all tributaries of the Morava river.
This is a detail of the 2014 sculpture by David Černý ”K on Sun” is located right next to a building where Kafka worked as a clerk at an insurance company. It consists of forty two mobile tiers that rotate and are once in a while in alignment to portray Kafka. Apparently there is a complementary sculpture in Charlotte, North Carolina called “Metalmorphosis”.

I am a big fan of the Vysehrad area, as it is an area many tourists never visit, making it quiet, but still magnificent. The view from the area towards the river is nice, and the picture here shows the Rotunda of Saint Martin. It was most likely built in the 11th century, even though the first written texts about it origin from the end of the 14th century.

Well, I created the article that is referred to here a few years ago, and I used my own picture back then... Forgot about it, and now I used it here. Sorry about that, but it still is my picture, and I took the picture myself, but I published it somewhere else (that is, in that blog article).
