WARNING: The use of images that are not your own on which you claim the ownership will be flagged - HELPING TO STOP PLAGIARISM ON STEEMIT

Hello fellow Steemians,

I hope you are all doing well and are excited about an upcoming weekend. You can start placing your personal images from your travels to Prague and other locations within the Czech Republic in the comment section below, adding a description of minimum 30 words. I will then upvote your entries later on. Just a reminder only personal images to be posted to the challenge! No other images to be entered as this is not what is intended to achieve in my photo-sharing challenge. I have to say that the situation got much better as of lately and not many stolen images are finding the way and entering neither of my challenges. This should be one of our priorities to fight people like this so we keep our home clean of any mess that is unwanted on Steemit.

Have a great day and keep on Steeming.

Wooden mill wheel
We went over the Charles Bridge and when you reach the other side of the Moldau river, you see a little sidearm called "Certovka". The wooden mill wheel looked just great between the houses. It was actually build in the 15th century and belonged to the former Grand Priory Mill. The area is called "Kampa" park is one of the most beautiful places of Prague if you asked me:)

What an amazing pic and great additional information. It is the post just like this one that make a difference for others to get inspired. Thank you so much for taking extra time to do that! Tomas

No problem. An image with a good explanation has at least twice as much value as the image alone. That's the reason why "photo stories" are so great. Sometimes I'm thrilled by a good article and of course great photos;)

It just makes a huge difference and your post is a perfect example of what I would like the rest to be:)....

This picture was taken at the Jewish Quarter. Before I arrived, I thought it will be like any touristy site but when we got there, I was so surprised there were so many market stands. Check out the markets if you have a chance to visit this site.

Thank you so much for featuring this great place of interest in my challenge. Truly wonderful!

I took this photo of beautiful Czech landscape from a boat when I was on a cruise trip from Prague to Dresden (Germany) in November 2014. This place is a part of Ceske Svycarsko, protected natural area in Northern Czech Republic. We enjoyed the trip very much, although the weather was not very good.

What a lovely pic! Thank you so much for sharing with everyone.

This is a picture from atop the Petrin Tower overlooking the famous Charles Bridge and in the distance you can see the buildings around Old Town Square most noticeably the Church of Our Lady before Týn.

PS: Sorry about the post from a couple days ago, I know you said 30 but I thought you mainly just wanted a story with each picture, I assumed getting close would be fine. I did go back and beef it up after you pointed it out (If you want to go back and look at it ;) ) and from now on I'll be adding 30+ words.

Hey! No worries.. I just had to change the concept a bit since people just started posting random pics without giving much info to the readers and waiting for an upvote. By this we can bring it up a bit. If you check some posts in this thread you will notice a big difference from compare to the past posts. It is all about improvements and making things better. Thank you and have a great day. Tomas

Prague Castle is a complex of buildings and structures, cathedrals and squares.
Initially, the Prague Castle was created as a fortress, the territory of which was expanded, and its walls were strengthened every year, until they became stone. In time, four places are built in Prague, surrounded by fortress walls: Old Town, New Place, Mala Country , Hradcany, which are now the historical districts of Prague with a huge number of attractions.
Gradually, from a simple fortress, the Prague Castle turns into a cultural center and the residence of kings. On the territory of the Prague Castle are the Old Royal Palace, the Basilica of St. George, the Golden Lane and the Cathedral of St. Vita. If you do not confuse anything, you can buy a single ticket for their visit.
Back you can go down the same staircase enjoying a beautiful panorama. The end point of the Metro Malostranskaya.

Thank you Jul, great as always!

The main entrance of the Prague Castle remembering the empress Maria Theresa is very interesting. You can view the gold coated design in shape of an arch and a crown on its top. On each of its sides are sculptures of giants fighting which belong to 1768. The gate is guarded by the castle guards you can see on both the sides. We were happy to see great security at the entrances here.

What a great contribution to today's challenge. Thank you so much. Tomas

Tančící Dům (Dancing House) also known as Fred and Ginger, one the most famous pieces of modern architecture in Prague. Completed in 1996, this unusual building is located next to the historical center of the city, on a bank of the Vltava River. I took this photo in December 2014.

Love at the first sight! Great building.

view-from-vyshegrad.jpg

I visited Vyshegrad for the first time during my fifth stay in Prague and wondered – why I haven’t done this before?! The view is majestic – historical center is perfectly seen. And you can enjoy beautiful landscape of Prague with it's hills and Prazsky Hrad of course.

I just love that place!

Oh Prague, what a dream land. Although for me the beauty is in the finer detail of things -- the hand laid stones that cover the roads for miles --- the shoes of the horses --- and the padlocks of lovers on iron gates <3

and Czech by plane: not the best photo but we make do in moving aircraft :P

Thank you so much for your participation. Great entry.

This photo presents the most beautiful bridge of Prague ; Charles Bridge.
It's been taken in 2013, during my school trip. I remember there were floods back then, that's why the water level in Vltava is so high.

That's impressive! I'm not used to see the bridge like that!

Thank you so much for your entry!

Hello,

The Czech photo entry for today is that of The Prague Castle which according to to the Guinness Book of Records, is the largest ancient castle in the world. This is the facade of St.Vitas Cathedral located within the castle complex. While I am not an expert on architecture, considering how old the whole complex is, I found it intriguing.
P.S No filter!

Charles bridge tower. Photo made from Krizovnicka side. Many people walking here. Tower is beautiful and i like all details on it. Not just tower. Whole city is very beautiful. I like those golden statues. Charles bridge tower from krizovnicka side.jpeg

Thank you so much for your entry and contribution. Tomas

The streets of Prague are always busy, even when it is cloudy. If you're looking for a quick snack, something to drink or something local, this is a great spot. Walking over Charles Bridge and up to the St Vitus and the Prague Palace, you'll find many of these stalls.

Thank you Jaco, have a good one! Tomas

My entry for today is a picture of the National Monument on the Vitkov hill. This is situated in the same district as the TV Tower you can see in the back (Zizkov, Prague 3). Apparently this is the third biggest equestrian statue in the World. From there, you can see a big part of Prague! (I will post other pictures from that hill in the next days)

toWhat a great information to accompany your picture. Truly appreciated. Tomas

wow !! I visited Czech Republic 10 years ago with my parents as we took a boat down the Danube. It was so beautiful with musicians and artists on each corners of the streets and chocolate shops with 100s of selections to choose from. The warmth and cozy it brought was priceless. The castle in your pictures looks astonishing... I feel like a disney princess only by mesmerizing the photos. Thank you for sharing. This relived wonderful memories. :)

Hi! I am glad to hear that Disney princess:)... Feel free to participate and share some pics in the challenge if you have some. Have a great day and thanks for stopping by. Tomas

Nice. I haven't been in Prague for a few months though and as I don't really have much time now I'm not sure whe I'll be able to go, but I definitely will have to - you have just reminded me how beautiful of a place it is - I'm really glad, that I live nearby and I can still travel to this destination pretty often, especially when I talk to my friends from the state and they say they love Prague so much, but they can't afford to go there too often :P

Hello Tomas and dear Steemers, let me share pictures of Old town-hall of Brno with a detailed gothic portal. In the entry you can find a crocodile hanging from the ceiling called "the dragon of Brno".
Have a nice day!
