Hello fellow Steemians,
I hope you are all having a great day! :) As usually, I am here with my daily photo challenge where you can submit your personal images from your travels to Prague and other locations in the Czech Republic in the comment section below.
The best 15 entries of the day will get my upvote. I will then pick the absolute winner of the day from these 15 photos. The winning photo will be awarded with a bigger upvote and it will also be featured as the cover image for the challenge post the next day to give the author of the winning shot some more exposure and publicity.
Don’t forget to add a short background story for your entry with at least 30 words and let me just remind you one more time that only personal images will be accepted in the challenge.
There were many great entries submitted in the yesterday Prague/Czech Republic photo challenge and I had a hard time picking the best one. After a deliberate consideration, however, I decided to choose the following entry by @mariainesff:
The church of St. Nicholas is situated on the mild top of the village Třtice. The first mention of the church comes from the local chronicle by Bohuslav Balbín, who testifies to the fact that his own husband had already been in the 13th century. Without leaving the Hussite wars, the original Gothic building was burned.

One of the "worth and must see" place in Czech Republic is Adrspach Rocks. Usually is full of people so as always I'm recommending to go there out of the season, so you will have a chance to take picture of beautiful nature without people on it.
That place is truly spectacular and deserves some more attention. It will make a great entry for today's contest. Thank you and have a great day. Tomas
Thank you :) after so many attempts to be chosen :) anyway still I have fun, but I need to go to CR to take some new photos ;)
Church of St. Peter and St. Paul in the little Silesian town of Hradec nad Moravici. Located just in front of the famous Hradec nad Moravici Chateau, the church was built in the 16th century and it is known for two giant bells (Peter and Paul) the heavier of which weighs in almost one ton.
This photo corresponds to one of the fences in St. Vitus Cathedral at the Prague Castle. The fence has some interesting miniature figures that show scenes of the life of ordinary people during the middle ages. As you can see they depict scenes corresponding to farmers and butchers.
Týn - Ungelt, the interior of the campus, Praha 1, Staré Město
I mentioned that foreign merchants stayed in Ungelt in Prague. It was separated from the rest of the city by a wall and a wall. It included a church and a hospital.
The contemporary look is from the 16th century Renaissance style. It was then that Ungelt began to change into an ordinary residential area.
The Ďáblice Observatory is located on the eastern edge of Ládví Hill. At an altitude of 328 meters, it was built between 1955 and 1958 during the event Z by the members of the Astronomical club at an educational discussion. The observatory has two dome for observation. The remaining panels from the construction of the first panel house in Czechoslovakia were used for the construction.
yesterday was a great day as i had a visit to the Lednice castle. it is believed that Lednice is the second most visited place in Czech after Prague. i had a wonderful time and i also a lot of shots for this contest. lets stay connected

So, this one is from me. Another bizarre sculpture from David Cerny in Prague. Yes these two men are urinating on the map of Czech Republic! This place is in the garden of Kafka Museum. It's title is "Piss," of course :) If you text to a special number then these two fellas will spell it for you!
The castle of Staré Hrady are located in the bohemian paradise, south of Jičín, next to the city of Libáň. Three fairy tale tours, fairytale creatures in role guides. A trip for children and adults to the fairy tales of Archibald.
The view of Prague's famous St. Vitus Cathedral from the rooftop terrace of Hotel International Prague. On the photo you can see also red roofs of Prague's district of Dejvice. Moreover, on the left is a part of building that belongs to Ministry of Defence of the Czech Republic. And on the right is a white building of Czechoslovak Hussite Church.

Beautiful bridge, rich in history. It is nice to go there especially at dusk, the play of light highlights it as well as the monuments of the city. Its crossing remains an enchantment and allows to enjoy a magnificent urban panorama. The bridge spans the Vltava / Moldau and links the Old Town and Mala Strana, whose entrances are each marked by beautiful Gothic towers.
In this photo I show you the Museum of the North of Bohemia in the city of Liberec, this city is the ideal place to spend holidays at any time of the year, offers a host of attractive options for active tourism, with a number of sites where the culture of this wonderful country invades us and shows us a lot about its history.
The ancient splendour and beauty of Prague, a city beyond compare leaves impressions and imaginations on tourists as well as locals, from it's ancient and modern culture to it's people
The surroundings of Prague Castle and Malá Strana have some beautiful corners to discover. You'll find several monuments, from Gothic & Baroque churches to all kind of sculptures. Just loose yourself, walking through the old town in both sides of the river and enjoy the city.
St. Lawrence Church on the Petrin Hill in Prague.
The original Romanesque and Gothic church was rebuilt in 1784 and converted into a residential house with small apartments. It wasn't until 1985 that the crumbling building underwent a six-year renovation. The church was converted into a concert hall while preserving its original architectural qualities to the maximum extent possible. It is mainly used for concerts of Prague Spring.
PD: Thanks for selecting my photo yesterday.
What a nice surprise. Welcome to hotel...
I lived in this hotel. There is nothing particularly remarkable in it. An ordinary hotel ... However, I remember one remarkable event. I liked it so much in Prague that I got lost in time and missed the plane :-)
