Hello fellow Steemians,

I hope you are all having a great day! :) As usually, I am here with my daily photo challenge where you can submit your personal images from your travels to Prague and other locations in the Czech Republic in the comment section below.

The best 15 entries of the day will get my upvote. I will then pick the absolute winner of the day from these 15 photos. The winning photo will be awarded with a bigger upvote and it will also be featured as the cover image for the challenge post the next day to give the author of the winning shot some more exposure and publicity.

Don’t forget to add a short background story for your entry with at least 30 words and let me just remind you one more time that only personal images will be accepted in the challenge.

There were many great entries submitted in the yesterday Prague/Czech Republic photo challenge and I had a hard time picking the best one. After a deliberate consideration, however, I decided to choose the following entry by @travelgirl:

Going up towards Český Krumlov Castle was pretty steep and this was on the way inside the castle up walking towards the view point. There was a lot of clouds on the day but that made the photos extra beautiful as the castle had the old looking walls (original) therefore it just suited the whole picture.

I rewarded @travelgirl entry with some extra upvote. Feel free to visit her blog and check out some of her other entries.

Thank you for your submissions. Have a great day and keep on Steeming!

The Olomouc Old Town is the second largest historical monuments preserve in the Czech Republic (after Prague). Every street, every corner of the Old Town has something beautiful to show you, and if you have the chance to be there on snowy winter days I'm sure you'll fall in love with the city. I promise.

Side view of the Holy Trinity Church, a beautiful white church that is located in the Silesian city of Opava. Found right next to Mestske Sady, the largest park in the city, the church was built as early as in 1463.

Night view of the Wenceslas Square, one of the most famous places in Prague. Many historical events occurred there, and it is a traditional setting for demonstrations, celebrations, and other public gatherings. Named after St. Wenceslas, the patron of Bohemia, the square is a part of the historic centre of Prague, a World Heritage Site.

Jiřího z Poděbrad Square in Prague is an excellent starting point for a stroll around Vinohrady. Square is full of great restaurants, cafes and shops. In the center of the square is this church - The Church of the Most Sacred Heart of our Lord. It´s a pleasure to live in this area.

The ruins of Trosky Castle are situated on the top of a mountain of the same name, in the village of Troskovice in the district of Semily in the Liberec region. It is owned by the state and is accessible to the public. Debris is a symbol of Bohemian Paradise and one of the most visited castles in the Czech Republic.

The most important holiday in Prague is the walk and enjoyment of the city itself. It contains a large number of monuments of architecture and art, various artistic styles are exchanged. This contrast is probably not where. Baroque, modern, renaissance - all this can be found in Prague. One that is worth dancing house, Charles Bridge, a great clock on the square, Prague Castle and many other unique places to visit and just relax.

Hi Tomas and fellow Steemians,
I was standing on Hradcanské namestí and shooting the main entrance in the Prague Castle area. The Main gate are guarding soldiers from the castle guard, I cannot imagine myself to stand there for an hour without movement. Above them are statues of fighting giants.

This is the canal and the back of the Český Krumlov Castle. Not many people go to this side of the castle as doesn't have much to see (ie shops and restaurants) but we like going to places out of the way to see if we can find something interesting which in this case, a canel running next to the castle. It was actually a pleasent place away from the tourists and foot traffic.
