Hello fellow Steemians,
I hope you are all having a great day! :) As usually, I am here with my daily photo challenge where you can submit your personal images from your travels to Prague and other locations in the Czech Republic in the comment section below.
The best 15 entries of the day will get my upvote. I will then pick the absolute winner of the day from these 15 photos. The winning photo will be awarded with a bigger upvote and it will also be featured as the cover image for the challenge post the next day to give the author of the winning shot some more exposure and publicity.
Don’t forget to add a short background story for your entry with at least 30 words and let me just remind you one more time that only personal images will be accepted in the challenge.
There were many great entries submitted in the yesterday Prague/Czech Republic photo challenge and I had a hard time picking the best one. After a deliberate consideration, however, I decided to choose the following entry by @softa:

Chko pálava, wildlife sanctuary in mikulov.
very nice and not very demanding walk from Pavlov over Devin ridge towards Mikulov. Beautiful views to famous Czech vineyard countryside. What we have seen in one and half day was really great. For sure we are coming again with proper plan. Beautiful landscape, ruins, tourist paths and nice wines!
That place is just hard to beat and deserves some more attention again. I am featuring it as a main entry to the contest. Have a great day. Tomas
Close-up of the decorated front side of Marianum, a huge building complex that is home to a psychiatric hospital and charities that take care of the patients. Built at the beginning of the 20th century, it is one of the most important and renowned pieces of modern architecture in the Silesian city of Opava.
This is also Prague!
We organized a trip to the Prokop Valley. It is a recreational area in south-western Prague, located in the districts of Barrandov, Holyně, Řeporyje, Stodůlky and Hlubočepy. We had an amazing view of the city (I will share this tomorrow) but suprisingly something else cought my eye. This beautiful hill top.
Strahov Monastery is the oldest Premonstratensian monastery in Bohemia. It was founded in 1143 and is one of the most significant monuments in Prague. It includes a Strahov library and a picture gallery.
Wha a wonderful.
Hmm wondering if this picture doesn't violate any rules of the competition because people post just architecture and landscape pics. If so lemme know...anyway, Czech republic is veeery well known for its beer tradition. On the pic is a friend of my mum we've met with when we were in Prague last time. And obviously, the place to meet she chose was - local beer brewery. I know pic is not really profi, but I just laugh at it cuz that's my perception of czech people...always drinking beer :D
going for a walk with a dog = going to get a beer :D
Yep, that's what we do:):)......
In this foto, my interest was to capture the building and the train simultaneously; so what i did was to wait patiently as the train was moving , i eventually got what i wanted.
A shot from Brno city
Every city has a heart. The heart of Prague is the fortress of Prague Castle. Prague Castle - the largest presidential residence in the world, is listed in the Guinness Book of Records, but more importantly, the Prague Castle is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Prague Castle was founded in the 9th century, around 880. This huge complex consists of many palaces, temples, castles, cathedrals that are built in different architectural styles, since they were built at different times.
krumlov is cute historic town. A must visit place if you are going to Prague. Take a night halt there. This is a charming historice old town with a long history and so much undamaged buildings from the war time. This is a fabulously historic town to visit. Lots of lovely coloured houses, and steeped in history. Great for a day out, sit by the river or watch the canoes coming over the weir.
The National Theatre is the Czech Republic's representative stage, built with funds from a nationwide collection and first opened in 1881, and for the second time in 1883 after a devastating fire.
The Prague Loreto
Between the monastery and the castle this church is really beautiful. It alone deserves a visit. If the coast vows fright, possibility to climb the hill by the funicular, then walk on the hill, join the monastery and Loreta.
Angels outside the Loreta, a beautiful pilgrimage church in the Prague Castle neighbourhood. According to legend, the square near the Loreta is a portal to Hell.
Love your image!
Old town prague
The air, the architectural structures the old town of Prague houses is beyond imaginations, lots of crafts and artworks that couldnt be seen in a week. Imaginations turned real, these are some of the things the old town of Prague offers
I just love that walk to the castle!
Legend says that Kourim was founded by Lech, the brother of Cech, within the early Slavic colonization of the territory of Czech Republic. This ancient town, with a core featuring a monument zone encircled by walls - boasts several dominant features and one of them is early-Gothic basilical church of St. Stephen with the Renaissance belfry with bells hanging upside down
The Villa Bílek, located in the Hradčany neighborhood of Prague, was designed by the Czech sculptor and architect František Bílek in 1911 to be both his residence and his studio. You can visit the villa where you can see some of Bílek's sculptures.
