Hello fellow Steemians,
I hope you are all having a great day! :) As usually, I am here with my daily photo challenge where you can submit your personal images from your travels to Prague and other locations in the Czech Republic in the comment section below.
The best 15 entries of the day will get my upvote. I will then pick the absolute winner of the day from these 15 photos. The winning photo will be awarded with a bigger upvote and it will also be featured as the cover image for the challenge post the next day to give the author of the winning shot some more exposure and publicity.
Don’t forget to add a short background story for your entry with at least 30 words and let me just remind you one more time that only personal images will be accepted in the challenge.
There were many great entries submitted in the yesterday Prague/Czech Republic photo challenge and I had a hard time picking the best one. After a deliberate consideration, however, I decided to choose the following entry by @francismoure:
In the Czech Republic it is very difficult to imagine the landscape or panorama of the city of Brno without the pair of towers of the Cathedral of San Pedro and Pablo. These streets today belong to one of the most preferred places where you can take a nice walk or spend a moment of tranquility.

I rewarded @francismoure winning entry with some extra upvote. Feel free to visit her blog and check out some of his other entries.
Thank you for your submissions. Have a great day and keep on Steeming!

Pravčická Gate is actually the biggest natural arch in whole Europe. It is the symbol of northern-west region of Czech Republic, called National Park Czech Switzerland. The arch is 16 meters high and 8m wide with the minimum thickness 3 meters. If you never been there, you must go!
Ahoj!
Oh, this is a must see place for all natural lovers coming to the Czech Republic. Well worth featuring as an entry today.
Thank you, I really love the place!
Říp is a 455-meter high hill, on the top of which is the Romanesque church of St. George. The tanto type of church is called rotundam thanks to the circular shape of the base. On the way to the summit, it is possible to take a look at the landscape from one of the viewpoints, or refresh yourself at the summit in Bouma's cottage. The hill is also a natural monument and in 2011 it was included in the European Protected Locations
Such a simple, yet beautiful image. I love the golden lighting.
What a significant place in our history! Amazing image too.
Kids smiling and playing with bubbles in old town square. Im surprised more people dont get hurt by slipping on the soap that is all over the place when the performer is done.
Welcome back:)
Low season. Žďár nad Sázavou
We were a little unlucky, because we traveled in the winter. Everything was closed, all was covered of the snow. No one was waiting for us))) There was no riot of colors. Only white snow and black silhouettes of trees. But we got beautiful art photos of a beautiful small town
In 2016, after I finished school, I travelled to Europe on my own for a month and Prague was my last stop. This photo was taken on my first night there. It was a rainy August evening but somehow the rain seemed to make everything shine in its own magical way. When I walked by one of the towers by Charles Bridge and saw that you could climb up it, I was immediately sold. This photo captures my view from the top of that tower.
Wow incredible story! :) You are really brave ! And the picture is really lovely, great job! :)
@kindley Thank you!
Nice shot of the city at night.
@derangedvisions Thanks!
So on the very day i took this picture whilst i was standing on top or on the high elevation of the Brno castle, i thought i had seen the entire city until i got closer to other monuments and symbols of the city.
The lesson is that Dont just look from afar and judge, get closer and you will be amazed. BEAUTIFUL BRNO.
Nice shot of the city. I really like the color of the rooftops against the blue sky.
Thank you
We enjoy going to Karlovy Vary, a beautiful spa town in western Bohemia. There are a number of really nice hotels, which add to the charm and even if you are not staying at the famous Grand-hotel Pupp you will definitely have a wonderful time!
Nice frame within a frame shot. Great job.
What a lovely image! Truly nice!
The Jurkovič observation tower was built on Karel Hill in Rožnov pod Radhoštěm in 2012. It was designed by architect Dušan Jurkovič in 1896. The observation tower reaches a height of 32 meters. Among the attractions we can mention is the fact that all blacksmith and tinsmith work was done manually and, moreover, employed old-style working practices that are no longer common today.
The gem of the Beskyd Mountains.
During the visit to the Plzeňský Prazdroj brewery, that is, Prazdroj de Pilsen, you will stroll through the authentic atmosphere of the manufacture of the world-renowned Pilsner Urquell lager. Appreciate the exhibition of the materials used, the historic and current cooking room and the bottling plant. An authentic delicacy is the tasting of unfiltered beer, pulled from the oak barrels. When someone asks you which was the best beer you have tasted, you will surely remember Plzeňský Prazdroj.
Many people would like to be in paradise... you can find one in Czech Republic and it's called.. Czech Paradise ;) I thought that for Czech people it would be something rather like some pub with good beer not place with many rocks ;)
haha, that is a real paradise for many, lol....
You mean good beer or Czech Paradise? or maybe better... good beer in Czech Paradise ;)
Petrin lookout tower is located on the hill in Prague. The steel structure looks a bit like the Eiffel Tower, but of course only in very small format. On top of the supervisory platform you have a perfect view over the city.
Emperor Charles founded the New Town of Prague including dozens of churches. Among them was St. Katherine's Church.
Charles carried his first victorious battle at San Felice on St. Catherine's Day on 25.11.1332. (He was 16 years old.) He was twice injured and killed three times horses under him. Yet he won.
Karel believed that thanks to St. Katherine. So he worshiped her whole life.

Beautiful old town square with historical buildings and statues on the fountain in Brno, Czech Republic. During summer, there is a historical vegetable market, nicknamed Zelňák,where you can buy fruit, vegetables, flowers, etc. Worth to visit.
What a wonderful image! Thank you for sharing. Tomas
If you visit Prague you MUST go here to see the Cathedral, just wow !! Also the views over Prague as you get to the top are amazing. I didn't buy any tickets & don't think I missed anything too vital. Amazing churches, amazing view, amazing colours. Walking into the castle is like living a fairytale. Absolutely to see: the golden lane!

Hello Tomas! Thanks for using my photo today, I'm glad you liked it. Greetings :D
Well deserved! Thank you so much for your continued contribution.
nice pics!
When I see this picture, I start immediately imagining myself walking to this beautiful streets with soft yellow old looking houses, but renovated style. No wonder my family decided to life there! If I am lucky I am able to visit Prague this autumn!
Symbol of the city, the Charles Bridge also has a rich historical past.
With a total length of 517 meters, the bridge also houses many statues (the statue of St Joeph and the baby Jesus, Pieta or that of Jean Nepomucene is the oldest).
In addition, a tower protects each end of the bridge. However, it is better to be patient to access especially during the tourist season.
Despite this, the Charles Bridge is well worth the detour and also offers the opportunity to make beautiful pictures.
The Crucifix and Calvary on Charles Bridge
I appreciate this interesting photo challenge in the world
This was our bartender at Absintherie in Old town.. as you can see he has burnt the sugar cubes to pour into our shot of Absinthe.... def felt the green fairy after drinking it haha! Interesting fact... this bar now accepts bitcoin :)
I have never tried burning the sugar cubes with my absinthe. I may have to give that a try next time I want to sip on it green goodness.
This building can be found in Breclav. At first, I thought it is a church but then I googled it and found out it is a ceremony hall. Near this building can be found Jewish cemetery. This building was built in 1888. They used red bricks.
Freedom Square (Námesti Svobody) is Brno's Old Town main Square. It has a triangular shape and in the center you can see the plague colum, an early Baroque column from 1689 in remembering of plague outbreaks in Brno.
Today Once again I want to share with your contest a amazing place at Troja Bridge, Hlavní Město Praha, Czech Republic. Such an beautiful place & Torja Bridge is so long & especially night view was awesome here. Honestly said I will go here for captured photographs for your contest. I take more pictures at Torja Bridge. Here is my third comment about Torja Bridge. This one is very beautiful for day nature. I just loved it. When I'm going through the Trojan Bridge, it's a little detour for me, but it's worth it! Beautiful work!
One of my most favorite beautiful place at Loket, karlovarský kraj, czech republic. It is surrounded on many sides by the Ohře river with lots of colorful building & amazing decoreted by road side. Its a historical place & very good for travelers. We are go here for our weekend tour with my family. Thank you so much for your contest.
I am sorry to say but it is adding absolutely no value to the contest if you repeat the same intro with a different image. Thank you for your understanding. Tomas
These awesome place at pražský hrad — prague castle — castello di praga — castillo de praga.Prague is one place that never disappoints me. I love the city. The castle and the cathedral are a beauty, I specially like the walk to the castle. The views of the city from the castle grounds is breathtaking.

Hi,
I would like to share one photo of my first visit to Prague. A romantic and warm city that will attract you. Cheap enough to travel.
Prague Castle, an attraction from 9th century.
I love colorful houses and interesting types of builduings. This picture has both. I love the name of the place as well, haha. (Buckweat in translation they sell watches). Taken in the busy streets of Brno:) Interesting colors like this can be used for directions for people who get lost often like me :D
I fell in love with Obecní dům (Municipal House) in Prague. It is a masterpiece of Art Nouveau. This is the portico over the entrance, which gives you a foretaste of what you can discover inside.
St Ludmila is located area in Vinohrady & Vrsovice.
St. ludmila has two twin towers. In the vicinity of ludmina st there is a small park that is well maintained and looks very beautiful. Indeed when I was not with the guide came to st ludmila. But because it is not far from my hotel. I also went around the park ludmina st. I also photographed flowers in the park st ludmila when spring.
very unique and interesting city views to visit😍
Beautiful photo, I like it.
I appreciate your traveling
