Hello fellow Steemians,
I hope you are all having a great day! :) As usually, I am here with my daily photo challenge where you can submit your personal images from your travels to Prague and other locations in the Czech Republic in the comment section below.
The best 15 entries of the day will get my upvote. I will then pick the absolute winner of the day from these 15 photos. The winning photo will be awarded with a bigger upvote and it will also be featured as the cover image for the challenge post the next day to give the author of the winning shot some more exposure and publicity.
Don’t forget to add a short background story for your entry with at least 30 words and let me just remind you one more time that only personal images will be accepted in the challenge.
There were many great entries submitted in the yesterday Prague/Czech Republic photo challenge and I had a hard time picking the best one. After a deliberate consideration, however, I decided to choose the following entry by @phortun:
One of the beautiful old houses found in the historic center of Krnov. Located at the foothills of the Jeseniky Mountains in the Moravian - Silesian Region of the Czech Republic, the town of Krnov is home to about 24,000 people and it is famous for producing Kofola, one of the most popular soft drinks in the country.

Český Krumlov is one of the most beautiful, picturesque towns I've ever had the pleasure to visit. It really is like stepping into a fairy tale - cobbled streets, little stores, beautiful buildings & a gothic castle! Not to mention the spectacular view of the old town & river from the belltower! Do yourself a favour & visit this town!
That is just a classic shot that will never get boring. It could be feature time after time and still be fascinating:).... Have a great weekend!
View of the Sileisan Harta and its picturesque natural surrounding. Built on the Moravice River between 1987 and 1997, the Silesian Harta is - with a total area of 874 ha - the ninth largest dam in the Czech Republic.
Adršpašské skály
Beautiful rocks and an amazing Gothic gate like a frame from Lord of the Rings! general routes that do not require the whole will go in 2-3 hours. At the entrance there is a beautiful turquoise lake in the old excavation. There is a beautiful view and a beautiful lake. A beautiful place to spend a few hours.
Playground, Mother of God Church in front of Týn in the background, Letenské sady, Prague 7
I and my son visit the playgrounds. He's climbing somewhere, I'm looking at what to see from that place. So here is a piece of Prague ...
Prague is full of orchards, parks, forest parks. And it's not just on the periphery, but almost in the city center.
Saint Barbara's church is placed on a beautiful park and at first sight is lovely shocking. It's big and beautiful from the outside. Inside it's possible to enter and see a little of it without paying, and there is an entrance fee to walk inside in all the areas.
There is a nice street with shops just near to it, excellent for a stops after sightseeing.
Old town square is a must go in Prague. It is a place where many historic events had occur. it's a good place to soak in the historic ambience of Prague. The Old town square of Prague is one of the main points to visit in the city and it’s also a link to other important touristic points as Charles Bridge for example.
Lidice, a small village in the Central Bohemia, was destroyed June 10, 1942. After the assassination on Reinhard Heydrich, May 27, 1942, the village was razed to the ground on the command of Karl Hermann Frank. 173 men were shot dead, women and most of the children were transported to concentration camps.
Nevertheless, the intention of the Nazis to erase the village from the map of the world was never successful. Lidice was restored and many communities around the world bear the name in honor of Lidice.
Stiassny Villa was built in 1930 according to the design of the architect Ernst Wiesner. So-called Government Villa was renovated between 2012 – 2014. This functionalist house can be visited in Brno, close to the BVV trade fairs.
Ahoj!
Adrspach-Teplice Rocks
Beautiful Czech place. Beautiful rocks that take their breath. It is very pleasant even in hot days. We had a little trouble parking, it was busy everywhere, but we did :) I would call it a fairy tale. The location is amazing.
Petrin Tower is in the upper area of Petrin Park, which is worth spending time in. The tower gives the opportunity to see Prague from the highest vantage point and get some perspective on the Castle and Old Town. The best night view of Prague from above and makes good for panoramas.
I took this picture in Prague, walking at sunset on the Vltava riverbank. On the right you can see the Charles Bridge and behind the Castle and the Cathedral of San Vito.
St. Vitus Cathedral
Impressive, beautiful cathedral, but to crowded. Try to go early in the morning. There is a lot to see so take your time. Stained glass is wonderful as are the mosaics on the outside. Gothic art at its best. You will need to take your time for the inside to appreciate everything you see.
In Prague, the genius of architects throughout history has shaped a unique city in the world between Gothic, Baroque, Art Nouveau and Cubist architecture. A pure treat.
It is not necessary to know the artistic currents to appreciate the form, the structure, the spirit of the buildings, churches, palaces of Prague.
History, arts and politics are intimately linked, so let's get a better understanding of Prague's soul through its architecture.
Definitely a sight to see in Prague. You can go to the rooftop terrace and there isn’t a cost to get up there so long as you purchase a drink! Gorgeous widespread views of the city from the top of Dancing House terrace and there’s (limited) seating. A good show of the modern architecture, the views from the top is amazing as it is bolt aside the river and whole of Prague can be seen and very beautiful at night.
Keeping guard at the Italian Court is one Tomás Masaryk, first president and liberator of Czechoslovakia. You'll see his likeness in several places in Czechia. Here, he stands in front of what was the Royal mint and also served as a royal residence through the years. Apparently the Italians were critical in the development of Czech coinage.
Very good contest

Here is a picture from Brno (I used it in the post I just published at: https://steemit.com/brno/@siggiboy81/aday-triptobrno-3x635nab6p)- It shows the Cathedral of St. Peter and Paul from the top of a market hall at the Vegetable market in Brno. The entire square was fantastic, and the view towards the cathedral was awesome. Brno has several churches, but this was my favorite of them all!
This bridge is pretty awesome. It is lined with incredible status on both sides and the views are awesome. Full of history and plenty of opportunities to take some great pictures. We saw many beautiful bridges in Europe, but Charles Bridge, that links the Old Town of Prague and Prague Castle is one of the most beautiful Bridges we saw.
great
Wow,so soothing.
