WARNING: The use of images that are not your own on which you claim the ownership will be flagged and/or reported to @steemcleaners - HELPING TO STOP PLAGIARISM ON STEEMIT

Hello fellow Steemians,

I hope you are all having a great day! :) As usually, I am here with my daily photo challenge where you can submit your personal images from your travels to Prague and other locations in the Czech Republic in the comment section below.

The best 15 entries of the day will get my upvote. I will then pick the absolute winner of the day from these 15 photos. The winning photo will be awarded with a bigger upvote and it will also be featured as the cover image for the challenge post the next day to give the author of the winning shot some more exposure and publicity.

Don’t forget to add a short background story for your entry with at least 30 words and let me just remind you one more time that only personal images will be accepted in the challenge.

There were many great entries submitted in the yesterday Prague/Czech Republic photo challenge and I had a hard time picking the best one. After a deliberate consideration, however, I decided to choose the following entry by @magnata:

Quiet and deserted streets, which attract to themselves as a magnet in each of the visits to Prague.
As it usually happens in the old districts of Prague, almost all buildings have their own name, which in former times, when there was no numbering of houses, served as the address of a house. And, since there was not a rich people living here, there is a desire to get rich in these names. But photos, of course, can hardly convey the atmosphere and energy of this place, so desolate and attractive, but here it is incredibly cozy.

I rewarded @magnata winning entry with some extra upvote. Feel free to visit his blog and check out some of his other entries.

Thank you for your submissions. Have a great day and keep on Steeming!

This is a view of Svornosti Square in Český Krumlov. Its footprint originates in the middle ages, with its square design and arcades running around the perimeter. Even though the façades have undergone inevitable changes over the centuries, their transformation was halted early enough (or their restoration have been conducted with respect of the past) so that the historical character of the ensemble has been preserved.
DSC01836.jpg.
In the middle of the square is the ubiquitous early 18th century “plague column” and a stone fountain built in 1843.
It had been raining off and on all day, hence the ominous skies. The weather obviously didn’t deter the tourists, but now it is late afternoon and the town prepares to wind down for the night.

That is a different image then the ones I get from Cesky Krumlov most of the time. Well worth featuring. Thank you for your great entry. Tomas

Thank you very much for featuring this photograph on your post today. That view with its soft colors, mottled sky and textured paving would make a really nice watercolor.
Keep well, and 'til next time :)

View of the Stribrne Jezero (the Silver Lake) coloquially known as "Sadrak". It is a former gypsum quarry that got flooded and has been serving as a recreation spot for wild swimming for decades. It is located on the outskirts of the Silesian city of Opava. The photo was taken 2 hours ago :)

I still never made it out to the beach during the trip and now this lake is looking very refreshing. Awesome shot.

It is refreshing! Not as clear as the Caribbean but still a good place to to refresh yourself in the summer heat :)

It was great, we had a guide who was interested in telling us about life in Prague is not only history and monuments. This is a great way to see the city from a different angle and enjoy a relaxed afternoon tea. We recommend it if your time is limited and you want to relax, but keep doing something.

In 1980, Wenceslas Square in Prague became a pedestrian zone. The trams stopped here. These are the last two to serve over the summer. As a stylish restaurant.
Yes, the line that ran here was number 11. (The cars did not have a door, and it was possible for them to jump out while driving ...)

Táborská Gate is located in the southeastern part of Vyšehrad. It was built in the years 1655-56 as part of the fortified fortification in front of Leopold's space-saving gateway to Pankrác. Not too elegant, purely purpose-built, late Renaissance building has 4 springs on the floor. At the pillars of the passage there are visible guiding grooves of the trap gate, which the gate was originally equipped with.

First of all, congrats to the winner @magnata ! The photo really looks effortless and cozy but beautiful at the same time. So, here is mine:

This is my photo from a place that I was really shocked and impressed. Here is the Sedlec Ossuary, a Catholic chapel in Kutná Hora. Inside of this church is made by human bones! It was an amazing feeling to see that. Sounds scary but I felt such a relief and peace in there.

This would be such a interesting place to go and visit. Cool shot.

Thank you!

Prague Metro
When we were visiting Prague we used Prague Metro all the time. It's a great way to get around town very fast. Some of the stations are old and outdated, but charming on the other way. I really liked the decor on the walls and ceilings.

Yep, the underground system is the best way to get around Prague.....

The view of Novy Svet (New World), Prague's quarter, located near Prague castle. It's quiet quarter, where nowadays artists and writers live with their families in houses that appear to be untouched since the 18th century.

I have limited time to spend in Czech republic as i am left with few days to complete my Erasmus programme. I think i am gonna miss this contest than anything; that not withstanding, i will make more shots so i can still be relevant even when i leave. A special gratitude and felicitations to @czechglobalhosts you have indeed marketed your country. More power to your elbow💪🏿
A shot from the beautiful Brno city👌

Thanks ever so much and enjoy the rest of your stay! Good luck to you.

mala strana praga.png

Malá Strana (the small city) is one of the oldest and most historical districts of Prague. The greatest attraction of Malá Strana is its magnificent state of preservation, the war passed without a trace and the palaces and old houses remain unchanged for centuries. All a city beauty that all tourists appreciate a lot.

What a tremendous click!

Interesting status of saints including a gold St Nicholas. Don't miss climbing the stairs to the first floor gallery where you get great views of the ceiling art and down to the naive. This is rare access to parts of a church.

St. Nicholas Church, Czech Republic

Today’s Church of St Nicholas is one of the most valuable Baroque buildings north of the Alps. Construction lasted approximately one hundred years, and three generations of great Baroque architects – father, son and son-in-law – worked on the church: Kryštof Dientzenhofer, Kilián Ignác Dientzenhofer and Anselmo Lurago.

Český Šternberk4.jpg

Český Šternberk Castle is a Bohemian castle of the mid-13th century, located on the west side of the River Sazava overlooking the village with the same name of the Central Bohemian Region in Czech Republic. Český Šternberk Castle is today a residence that bears a long historical and architectural heritage and represents an attractive tourist destination open to the public. It is considered one of the best preserved Gothic Bohemian castles.

In the picture I was standing on the Charles Bridge and enjoyed the bustle. I saw artists, souvenir seller and all the tourists who, like me, enjoyed the atmosphere in Prague. I took this picture also because of the biggest castle in the world in the background!

Hi Lena, great to see you entering the contest!

Prague hall square in front of st vitals cathedral, in the middle the lepol' dov fountain which apart from the function of the monument of the architecture is also a function of great revenue as it is a major tourists center

The Vltava River.
Not far from the Charles Bridge, on the bank of the river, I discovered for myself the dwelling of magnificent swans. A beautiful place, a quiet environment for privacy. If you have a rest in Prague, you need to see it from the side of the river. In Prague there are water excursions and walks along the river in order to see the sights of the city from the water. From the boat, the vista looks somewhat different. And it's super beautiful.
