Hello fellow Steemians,
I hope you are all having a great day! :) As usually, I am here with my daily photo challenge where you can submit your personal images from your travels to Prague and other locations in the Czech Republic in the comment section below.
The best 15 entries of the day will get my upvote. I will then pick the absolute winner of the day from these 15 photos. The winning photo will be awarded with a bigger upvote and it will also be featured as the cover image for the challenge post the next day to give the author of the winning shot some more exposure and publicity.
Don’t forget to add a short background story for your entry with at least 30 words and let me just remind you one more time that only personal images will be accepted in the challenge.
There were many great entries submitted in the yesterday Prague/Czech Republic photo challenge and I had a hard time picking the best one. After a deliberate consideration, however, I decided to choose the following entry by @cryp1:
The famous "wine village" with wine cellars in the hillside above the village Petrov-Plže in Southern Moravia. The facades of some cellars are pargeted in a beautiful blue and white pattern, and some are decorated with colourful ornaments.

Really beautiful place. Visiting Adrspach-Teplice rocks is beautiful even in bad weather. At least there are fewer people and enjoy peace and beautiful surroundings. One of the most beautiful places in the Czech Republic. Every year we go to this place to admire the beauty of the rock city.
Wow, this looks like an epic place to visit and hike/run.
Very awesome. I agree with @extremejogging, this looks like an epic hiking area.
That is a truly out-standing piece of Czech paradise well worth featuring in today's edition. Thank you so much for your entry. Truly awesome. Have a great day. Tomas
Side view of the watch tower of the White Chateau - a part of the chateau complex in the little Silesian town of Hradec nad Moravici. Known for being a temporary home of Ludwig van Beethoven, the town is located just a few kilometers outside of the city of Opava.
interesting in many ways :)
St Bartholomew's Cathedral
An absolutely stunning view of the whole city. While a man falls and swells at the height of all the stairs, it is worth the effort. I've seen plenty of prospects, but this one has gotten my heart.
smetanova vyhlidka
A breathtaking spectacle on Vltava and Slapy. A very beautiful outlook, which is not as popular as the May sight, and, unlike it, also has a railing so that children can enjoy the view of the river. The sunsets are impressive here.
The Troja Bridge is part of a set of the Prague Ring Road and connects the Partyzánska Street in Holešovice with the area of Povltavská and Trojská streets on the other bank of the Vltava river in Troja. It measures a total of 262.1 meters and is a worthy wide 36 meters. The total height of the supporting structure is 34 m above the maximum navigation level of the Vltava River.
Vrtba Garden (Vrtbovská zahrada)in Prague is considered one of the most beautiful Baroque gardens in Central Europe. Although small and intimate, the garden features everything a Baroque garden should - elegant staircases, statues and sculptures, terraces and colorful flowerbeds. The garden is also blessed with a superb location, it sits on a slant, providing the garden with many terraces and different levels; the top level boasts the most magnificent view of St. Nicolas and Lesser Town. This hidden garden is definitely a must see if you happen to visit Prague, it is located off of Karmelitská street behind an unassuming gate.
The historic center of Cesky Krumlov is a wonderful place to stay, walk around and explore. It has cobbled streets, beautiful old buildings, interesting shops, great little cafes and restaurants. The castle is easy to walk up to. We were here for a day but we would have loved to stay longer. Definitely a place to return! Yes, there are a lot of tourists but just pack your patience and enjoy!
Charles Bridge, If you don't go here you haven't been to Prague
It is one of the most important landmarks of Prague. A breathtaking bridge, where I'm not sure what it more beautiful: the view from it or the bridge itself. If you don't like the crowds avoid visiting in the middle of the day.
Boating down one of the canals of Prague. This photo is actually taken quite close to the Charles Bridge. I stumbled upon the canal lined by beautiful buildings with a small group of friends cruising down the canal on a little pontoon. I've never been to Venice but I was feeling Venetian in this moment.
Prague Old Town is very beautiful especially the old Gaeschen, all very nice houses, old restaurant, you can eat cheap everywhere. There is a lot to see in Altstad, the atmosphere is magical, the shops are very cheap, you can always find something to shop. Everywhere you can drink good beer.
Lomeček, Quarry in Mrákov.
Excelent place for scuba diving, swimming and relax. Water is bit cold, but who cares :) Pleasant natural swimming pool in a flooded quarry where it is possible to lie Palouček to grass, sand and stones forming the boundaries pond.
St. Barbara's Church.
A magnificent and beautiful monument that is definitely worth a visit. It is good to look around the city, which is also beautiful (the way to the center is a beautiful view of the temple and vineyards).
A great experience in Sedlec Ossuary church very different from the ones we are used to visit. The decorations and the furniture are all made of human bones, as the cemetery where they lied wasn't able to keep underground the huge amount of bodies.
For someone it can seem a bit creepy and disgusting, but it's a wonderful visit for who has not stomachache for anything!!
View of part of Kutna Hora from St. Barbara Church. I have been in the city for over 10 years and I was surprised how calm the city is in the evening. There were local tourists along the streets and only a few tourists. I did not experience this for a long time, and I was glad to be able to experience it in the middle of the summer season in this beautiful city.
Ahoi @czechglobalhosts, ahoi everybody!
I took this picture a while ago when I began with photography. What is special about it is that it's actually in Prague. There are so many quiet and wonderful spots far away from the crowds of tourists, highways and any other form of city noise. By the way, it's located in the direct north in Troja.
I have two more pictures right here but I think one is enough for the comment section. Cheers!
Karlovy Vary
I've took this photo in 2015 , but just in the last week I had an oportunity to develop film :).
So I'm glad that I can finally to check what have I done :D !
On the photo there is a close-up on the building where is the famous Film Festival in Karlovy Vary.
I took this photo with Nikon F3
Lens: nikkor 105 mm
Film : 35 mm, B&W Iflord HP5 Plus, iso 400.
Very cool. Film photography is always so much different than digital. People nowadays don't understand the need to slow down and make sure everything is right when you snap that picture.
Thanks for the comment ! I think that now Film photography starting to be popular again. Ofc there is a problem with the cost... And if I take photos on a 35 mm film there is no big difference between analog and digital quality (- exept grain - you will not fake it :) It's unique), but until now if you have 120 mm film - I mean medium format - the Quality can not be beaten, and then magic begins :) .
GOOD. ...
