Hello fellow Steemians,

I hope you are all having a great day! :) As usually, I am here with my daily photo challenge where you can submit your personal images from your travels to Prague and other locations in the Czech Republic in the comment section below.

The best 15 entries of the day will get my upvote. I will then pick the absolute winner of the day from these 15 photos. The winning photo will be awarded with a bigger upvote and it will also be featured as the cover image for the challenge post the next day to give the author of the winning shot some more exposure and publicity.

Don’t forget to add a short background story for your entry with at least 30 words and let me just remind you one more time that only personal images will be accepted in the challenge.

There were many great entries submitted in the yesterday Prague/Czech Republic photo challenge and I had a hard time picking the best one. After a deliberate consideration, however, I decided to choose the following entry by @justdothat:

Prague, one of the most beautiful cities in Central Europe, is a city that must be visited and visited with its magnificent atmosphere. You can easily visit this extraordinary city by organizing your own trip, which is the way I like and prefer more as you can see this beautiful city with Central European tours organized in our country. Prague's Old Town Square is the oldest and most active spot in Prague, covering an area of 1.7 hectares. Located between Celetna and Staromestske namesti, the square is at the top of our list of places to visit in Prague. This gothic, Renaissance, baroque and neoclassical place is visited by tourists as well as the places to see and see, as well as human traffic and various shows that do not end day and night. It is very enjoyable to watch the street demonstrators in the old city square, to sit and relax in the street cafes and restaurants. You can watch the hustle and bustle of the square by climbing to the top of the Old Town Hall where the Dilersen Astronomical Clock is located. Prague Old Town Square is a place that has witnessed many important histories from the execution of Protestant leaders in the 17th century to the attacks of Soviet tanks in 1968. There are countless buildings and works you need to see in the Old Town Square, where the heart of the city is thrown and your soul is reflected. Astronomical Clock and Old Town Hall, Dum u Minuty House dating from 1611, which was inhabited by Franz Kafka for a while, Stone Canyon House, built with Baroque architecture and temporary exhibitions of the municipal gallery, was built as a simple church in the 14th century, the Church of the Virgin Mary in front of Tyn, the Jan Hus Monument in the name of Hus, who was told to change the church in 1415 and burnt for what they did, and the Marian Column, which was planned to be rebuilt in 1918 and destined for the independence of Czechoslovakia in 1918, is located behind the Tyn Church Storch House, which is known as the Ungelt patron of the area, Saint Vaclav 's painting, Golz - Kinsky Palace which was occupied by the communists for a while, the well in the middle of the small plaza and Male Namesti, the monument of plague are some of the most important structures you can see here.

The Old Town Tower is the gateway to Malá Strana through the Charles Bridge. This medieval tower, considered one of the best examples of Gothic architecture in Europe, was for centuries the only way to access this part of the city, protecting the east side of the Charles Bridge. It is the most touristic place in the city of Prague and the most beautiful for tourists.

That is some wonderful information with this iconic image. It will make a great entry post for today's challenge. Thank you so much. Tomas

Who said you cannot take a nice cityscape photo on a cloudy grey winter day? At least in Prague, you can :) This is a panoramic shot of the Prague Castle with the Legii Bridge in the foreground. I didn’t even have to put the black and white filter on it, there were simply no colors that day :)

Yep, this is just a pure example of it! Great job.

For today´s contest, I choose a landscape. This wooden cottage is called "Dlaskuv statek". The farm is part of the Turnov Museum of Bohemian Paradise. It is located between the Dolánky train stop and the river Jizera.

Great to see a very traditional image. Thank you so much. Tomas

I myself am not particularly fond of riding. But it is impossible to pass such a couple in the center of Prague. I tried many times for such pictures. But in most cases I was not lucky with the light. But here it turned out. The horses just got in a narrow light strip.

That is so cute! I think this would easily qualify for the Valentine's Day contest:).....

))
I wanted to find a more suitable photo for this contest)

Hi! today I'd like to share with you my photo of The Metropolitan Cathedral of Saints Vitus, Wenceslaus and Adalbert wich was taken at night time.

If talk about me this cafedral one of most "must visited place" as I think! That's why every time when I come to Prague I go for a walk near this place with my companions. So was and at that time when we came to Prague with one of my friends! We took the boat and walked down the Vltava from where I took this photo.

Petrov is hill in the center of Brno, the second largest city in the Czech Republic. You can find here Saint Peter and Saint Paul Cathedral, Denisovy Sady park and others. It is nice place for walks but unfortunately there is always a lot of tourists. Well… not always. Not at night. You can see for yourself how amazingly Petrov looks at night. Everybody must admit that it is really an amazing piece of architecture.

Absolutely agreed, a great place to visit!

Prague is incredible. And it has so many amazing places that look great on camera. Like this one! I think everyone knows this place and everyone visited it at least once while they were visiting Prague. I really like this picture and think it would be an awesome postcard :)

This is the beautiful castle of Nové Město nad Metují, a small town in the Hradec Králové region in the north of the Czech Republic. I've been told the translation for the town's name is "New Town on the Metuje" which is because the old town and the castle sit on a spur in a meander of the river Metuje. The castle has beautiful gardens, and to get to them you enter via a walkway bridge designed by famous Slovak architect Dušan Jurkovič. In 2008, the area of Nové Město castle became listed as a national monument of the Czech Republic. For me, it marked one of the highlights of my trip through the country.

Wonderful entry! Thank you so much for your contribution. Tomas

Fluffy clouds over Prague
The sky was beautiful, and the scenery was breathtaking. I will never forget that moment it's going to stay with me forever. This picture was taken at the Garden on the Ramparts of Prague castle.

That is such a beautiful image! Well done. Tomas

Here is a picture of old town square. The pictures is taken from atop of Town Hall. This is just because all of the street performers show up to start their shows.

Today I have prepared photo from Bohemian Switzerland. It is area near city of Decin. The area of the park is 79.23 km². Forests cover 97% of the area. For example, Pravcicka brana is located there. There is really rich flora.

What a wonderful place Bohemian Switzerland is. Great to see an entry from there. Tomas

In my shot here, the green dome and tower of the church of St. Nicholas is overlooking a street of Prague. This impressive Baroque masterpiece can be seen from many corners of the city.
I love these iconic white and red trams running in the extensive network in the city. It’s a great way to travel around and to take in the beautiful sights along the streets.

Such an amazing image!

The city of Kutna Hora .. This small, pretty provincial town has an ancient history full of interesting legends and facts, as well as, I would say, unexpected and to some extent even shocking sights. Therefore, on the streets of Kutna Hora, you can see many tourists from different parts of the world. The city really corresponds to its name: it stands on a high hill, from which beautiful views are opened. Everywhere is green and very cozy.

I just love this place! Thank you so much for bringing back some great memories. Tomas

First of all, I would like to thank you for choosing my best photo of Tuesday. I want to share this photo with you today.

You can see here Charles Bridge. The building which is the most important bridge of Prague is completely closed to vehicle traffic. The bridge is a stones stone that draws attention with its saint sculptures adorned with handrails. The originals of the sculptures are exhibited at the Lapidarium Museum and are the individual productions you see on the bridge. The connection to the most important structures of the city is provided by this bridge. Walking on the bridge is really a different pleasure. I want to give information to you about history of Charles Bridge.

The Charles Bridge (Charles Bridge), built in 1357 in Prague, is the most famous bridge in the city. The building, which is one of the symbols of Prague, is at the forefront of the list of places to visit in Prague. The bridge connects Prague Castle and Mala Strana with Stare Mesto. This bridge, built in place of Judith Bridge, is 13 meters high at 516 meters in length. Located on the Vltava River, Charles survives the great seller's life and has been used as a pedestrian road for centuries.

The bridge is not only a stand-alone work as an architecture but also draws attention to as many as 30 sculptures on it. All these sculptures are replicas and their originals are in the National Gallery Lapidarium. The most famous of these sculptures is the St. Jan of Nepomuk of Bohemian, and the saint is thought to have been martyred because his wife, who deceives the king, refuses to confess his sins. The most recent of these sculptures are depicted by Cyrill and Methodius and Christian missionaries.
Thanks for reading.. @czechglobalhosts

Well deserved! Once again a great post!

Prague Castle is one of the most photographed places in Prague. For me as a person who lives in Prague is quite the challenge to find a place where I'd still take a picture. Here I used the boat as a foreground and as a background is Castle after sunset.

Absolutely fabulous image! Thank you so much!

For Czech people, the National Theatre belongs to the most important Czech cultural institutions. The building of theater is utterly breathtaking. Also don't forget to gaze at the ceiling or you will miss some fabulous artwork. It is easily accessible by tram, metro or easy walk from Old Town.

Not only you are missing the minimum 30-word description to qualify for the challenge but your image also seems to be copied from the internet. Correct me if I am mistaken. That is a serious violation and will not be tolerated. I do apologize in advance if I am wrong. Kindly provide an ownership of your images. Tomas

The Prague and the Czech Republic look like beautiful places and I hope to be able to travel there one day. I love the architecture. There is so much history from the cobblestone streets to the towering steeples of the massive churches that encompass the square. It truly is like taking a step back in time when looking at pictures of this beautiful place. Especially when you see pictures that include a horse drawn carriage. Thank you for sharing pictures of this amazing part of the world.

Spilberk Castle in Brno - The castle’s large courtyard holds a fifteen-bell carillon, a lookout in the corner tower, and the Baroque Holy Trinity chapel. Picture taken during visit to Brno on previous vacation to Czech Republic - minimalism and simplicity is something I wanted to portray in this picture. Definitely recommend you to visit Brno after you've been to Prague.

Kamenice nad Lipou
A small town on the way from Jindřichův Hradec to Pelhřimov. The photo is a local castle. Other attractions include the so-called Fairy Kingdom Fábula, where children can turn into any fabulous figure. The town also runs a narrow-gauge railway from Jindřichův Hradec to Obratan.
