Hello fellow Steemians,
I hope you are all having a great day! :) As usually, I am here with my daily photo challenge where you can submit your personal images from your travels to Prague and other locations in the Czech Republic in the comment section below.
The best 15 entries of the day will get my upvote. I will then pick the absolute winner of the day from these 15 photos. The winning photo will be awarded with a bigger upvote and it will also be featured as the cover image for the challenge post the next day to give the author of the winning shot some more exposure and publicity.
Don’t forget to add a short background story for your entry with at least 30 words and let me just remind you one more time that only personal images will be accepted in the challenge.
There were many great entries submitted in the yesterday Prague/Czech Republic photo challenge and I had a hard time picking the best one. After a deliberate consideration, however, I decided to choose the following entry by @whimsical-magic:
The lovely historic district of Kolín during thundery atmosphere ~ 🤗💖 ~ on our visit a few days ago we were happy to discover fetching flowery arrangements enhancing the beauty of this city on the ˋRiver Elbe´ about sixty miles outside of Prague ~ it truly is a bigger town were ancient beauty and busy modern life will {- hopefully -} meet peacefully in the middle :)

Did my first trip to Prague a few months ago with a friend. We got tickets for the opera. Unfortunately, we just could stay for a weekend. My favourite photograph I took there is this one, Křižovnické náměstí. Next day we visited Prague Castle.
Best regards from Germany, Jana/Lichtgreif
Very interesting composition to feature today. I would also like to welcome you to our Steemit family. I am looking forward to seeing more of your images from Prague in my challenge. Have a great day and Steem on. Tomas
Thank you, Tomas.
This is a pretty cool shot. I love the ghosting effect you have from the long exposure. Very well done. Looking forward to seeing more from you.
Close-up of the beautiful decorative front facade of the St. Vitus Cathedral that is located within the complex of the Prague Castle. The cathedral is a majestic Roman Catholic metropolitan church and the official seat of the Archbishop of Prague.
This is such an amazing building. The detail of everything is awesome. Really cool shot.
Thanks Wes :) Always means a lot, coming from a photographer like you...
Changing the Guards at the Prague Castle with the St. Vitus Cathedral in the background. The ceremony takes place in the first courtyard of the castle every hour. The main ceremony is held at the noon and that is also when masses of tourists gather around to witness this interesting event.
A view of Prague, in early spring, from the hill where the Castle is located. The view shows the beautiful red roofs of the buildings in Malá Strana. A little further one of the Gothic towers of Charles bridge can clearly be seen. The view shows many of the church spires of the city.
This is one of the strangest statues in Prague. It was made by Jaroslav Róna in 2003, and it is called: Memorial to Franz Kafka. Kafka is the child on the shoulders of the headless and armless man, and it is supposed to have been inspired from a story in one of Kafka's books. It is located in the Old Town of Prague.
At Vyssi Brod. Very beautiful place. It so aweome to visit here. Raveling on boat in river was so entertaining. Czech is a very beautiful place to visit. Natural beauty attract you to come here. It was lot of fun there.
The best of Gothic-Renaissance Architecture.
We have a love of architecture and history. there was SO much to see. It is decorated so ornately that you have to take your time or you'll miss something amazing. The Gargoyles are beautifully carved, the stained glass windows breath-taking and all the ornate carvings in the doors, door frames and archways need to be photographed so as not to overlook the intricate detailing. It was also quite expensive to go inside and look around, although you were allowed to take photographs.
Hi Steemians find here my picture from the beautiful gardens of the recently restored Hospital Kuks in the Northern Bohemia. This is an unique 17th century Baroque complex of former hospital and spa with the church of the Holy Trinity and the old dispensary.
Great shot but make sure you meet the minimum 30-word description ;)
St. Charles bridge is a beautiful old walking bridge spanning the river (about 100m), it has beautifully statues the length of the bridge on both sides and is lit up at night. There are many street vendors set up on the bridge to sell souvenirs or character portraits, but they are not aggressive in their selling. Both ends of the bridge boast many shops restaurants as well as attractions like the Jon Lennon wall so bring your camera.
Excursion to the fortress Prague Castle - A majestic place with beautiful observation platforms
Our walk through the Prague Castle ended with the Old Castle Staircase. The staircase has a length of 230 meters and consists of 121 steps. A lot? I advise everyone to start the excursions from top to bottom, we were very sorry for the people who are coming up to meet us from the metro station Malostranskaya. I am sure that on my next trip to Prague, I will again walk around the Grad because there are so many things left to be seen!

A different perspective upon the ˋChurch of Konárovice´ ~ ❤️ ~
It is a true summery impression with the intense blue sky and the surrounding greenery contrasting beautifully ~ ✨ ~ This for lovers of history gem can be found only a few miles outside of the prominent city Kolín about a forty-minute-drive by train or car away from Prague: opening its doors to absorb its ˋinner architecture of times gone by´ once a month as well...! ~ * ~
The National Technical Museum also has its own research centre with its own publication and educational activities concerning the history of the sciences and technology. The museum presents centuries of ingeniousness in 14 permanent expositions.
Lovely hilly countryside with well-marked trails. Some quite steep. Worth the climb for the views. Can be crowded at the top. Great time for holiday with friend. very nice and not very demanding walk from Pavlov over Devin ridge towards Mikulov. Beautiful views to famous Czech vineyard countryside. Wonderful, picturesque. Breathtaking. And wine everywhere. I love Palava, it's a great place with nice people. Also Palava wine I consider as the best I've ever tried! Magic place with prehistoric history. Great for tracks and country walks.
beautiful square with lots of entertainments for all ages you can find all kind of restaurants mainly the 1 st attraction must see and take panoramic photos. Every major European city has a town square that's similar in look and feel, but this one is simply beautiful.
Prague has been a political, cultural and economic centre of central Europe complete with a rich history. Founded during the Romanesque and flourishing by the Gothic, Renaissance and Baroque eras, Prague was the capital of the kingdom of Bohemia and the main residence of several Holy Roman Emperors, most notably of Charles IV. Most beautiful place in the world.
