WARNING: The use of images that are not your own on which you claim the ownership will be flagged and/or reported to @steemcleaners - HELPING TO STOP PLAGIARISM ON STEEMIT

Hello fellow Steemians,

I hope you are all having a great day! :) As usually, I am here with my daily photo challenge where you can submit your personal images from your travels to Prague and other locations in the Czech Republic in the comment section below.

The best 15 entries of the day will get my upvote. I will then pick the absolute winner of the day from these 15 photos. The winning photo will be awarded with a bigger upvote and it will also be featured as the cover image for the challenge post the next day to give the author of the winning shot some more exposure and publicity.

Don’t forget to add a short background story for your entry with at least 30 words and let me just remind you one more time that only personal images will be accepted in the challenge.

There were many great entries submitted in the yesterday Prague/Czech Republic photo challenge and I had a hard time picking the best one. After a deliberate consideration, however, I decided to choose the following entry by @nenio:

The Obelisk in the central yard of the building complex known as the Castle of Prague. It is a granite monolith and it was built as memorial of the First World War in 1928. Its design contrasts the Gothic/Baroque architecture of the neighboring buildings.

I rewarded @nenio winning entry with some extra upvote. Feel free to visit his blog and check out some of his other photos.

Thank you for your submissions. Have a great day and keep on Steeming!

Since today is also MonochromeMonday, I decided to give the monochrome treatment to one of my Prague photos. When I visited Prague last October, I took a 4 hour walk through Old Town and took a ton of photos. This is one of those photos where you can see the Charles Bridge in the background along with the river. While the color of the late afternoon sky was lovely, I like what the black and white treatment does for this photo.

For today, I chose something really special. It is one of the best views in the vicinity of Prague. Its name is May, and you will be looking at the Vltava River from that view. The view is about 1 kilometer from the village of Teletín, which is about 25 km from the southern edge of Prague.

Such an amazing view. Great colors in the sky. Beautiful shot.

It would be a shame not to feature you amazing shot of Maj Lookout in today's edition. Truly exceptional image!

Thank you, it's a gorgeous place that deserves promotion.

Such an amazing picture of what looks like a fantastic lookout. Making a mental note of visiting thus place next time I visit.

Due to its beauty, the Lednice-Valtice complex is known as the "Garden of Europe". On the other hand, it is one of the largest artificial landscapes in the world, this complex is unique.
In the panoramic photo that I present to you, you can see some of the fragments of this huge garden.

Today, my photo is a view of Prague from the viewing point of Strahov Monastery. St. Vitus Cathedral against the background of the Vltava River and Prague's bridges create a complete picture of the center of old Prague.

This is such a great view of the city.

Thank you

For today's contest I chose the image of Horse Statue from Brno in Czech Republic which is made by Czech sculpture Jaroslav Rona. This spectacular statue is placed on Moravian Square. With this picture I would like to get more attention to the city of Brno which is the second largest city in Cezch Republic.

I first traveled to The Czech Republic in 2014. Walking the narrow lanes of this UNESCO World Heritage site felt like I have traveled back in time. The click clack sounds on the cobbled streets, beautiful old buildings and the ubiquitous bell tower that follows you anywhere you go in the city. The faint gurgling of Vltava River and pretty little wooden bridges really make you feel like you are in a period movie. The time stands still and you never want to leave.
Here is one such moment framed forever. :)

What a fabulous image! If it wasn't for an amazing picture from @softa then I would gladly feature it today. Actually I think I stayed in that hotel few years back:)....

Thanks a ton. As soon as I saw @softa pic, I knew I didn't stand a chance. It's a fabulous picture. :)

The beautiful picture from the center of Prag. This was the first thing I saw when I came to Prag. When I went up from the subway of this street, an amazing view welcomed me. Everywhere was very live and crowded. I was very excited to discover this city..

Perfect weather and The Sky is clear and so once again my favorite , but from the different angle the view at the Charles bridge in the background with the beautiful colorful Pragues old town buildings across the river.

With its new name, the capital of Czechia, it is not a city where there will be many problems in terms of the culture of eating and drinking in Prague. As well as being rich in country cuisine, Turkish, Italian, Indian and Chinese restaurants are also very popular, so there are options for all kinds of tastes. However, if I briefly mention Prague cuisine in Czech cuisine, I can say that it is a kitchen with plenty of calories, fat, lots of meat and potatoes.

Snacks in Prague are actually quite diverse. From sweet snacks such as Trdelnik, there is a wide range of fried cheese meals ranging from Smažený Sýr, hot sandwich Grilované Klobásy, open sandwich Chkebíčky and potato pancake Bramboraky. All of them are tasty and hearty dishes.

One day I was walking around Brno and I climbed a small mountain where I found this wonderful view, it was very cold but that did not stop me from taking a picture, this is a beautiful place to walk.

That is hotel imperial spa & health club at karlovy vary. The best place to stay in Karlovy Vary. Can’t wait till my next time. to be honest havent been there, but have spent some time with the owners, really lovely people and i can imagine their hotel is excellent. Very cosy place but very beautiful.

This is Holy Trinity Column. An interesting building adorns the town center of Olomouc. It is located on Horni Namesti (Upper Square). My aunt is living there and I visit her regularly. I lived in Olomouc for 6 months during I made my driver's license.

This is photo from Great Synagogue in Pilsen. This time I used my mobile to create this panorama, as I think that ceiling ov very interesting, but sometimes pictures will not show you everyrhing anyway.

St. Vitus Cathedral . The most important thing for which it is worth to visit St. Vitus Cathedral is not unique stained-glass windows, not beautiful architecture, not deafening dimensions ... The most important thing is that in the walls of this cathedral the relics of St. Wenceslas are kept! For this purpose, a special chapel was built in the cathedral. But this part of the cathedral can be reached only by purchasing a ticket.
Also paid are numerous (23!) Chapels. They store the treasures of art, religious relics, tombstones of priests and monarchs.

The Memorial to the Victims of Communism at the bottom of Petřín Hill in Prague is one of the most visually striking and moving memorials that I have seen in a long time.

After the fall of the Soviet Union, after two world wars, after the Vietnam war, with wars still raging in the Middle East, in Africa and in pockets around the world, this monument and others like it should knock some sense into us. The human cost is so high, the suffering so profound, that I hope that I some point we will rise, stand up to the powers that be and shout “Never again!”

Meanwhile, let us keep in our memory the victims of communism to whom this monument is dedicated.
