Hello fellow Steemians,
I hope you are all having a great day! :) As usually, I am here with my daily photo challenge where you can submit your personal images from your travels to Prague and other locations in the Czech Republic in the comment section below.
The best 15 entries of the day will get my upvote. I will then pick the absolute winner of the day from these 15 photos. The winning photo will be awarded with a bigger upvote and it will also be featured as the cover image for the challenge post the next day to give the author of the winning shot some more exposure and publicity.
Don’t forget to add a short background story for your entry with at least 30 words and let me just remind you one more time that only personal images will be accepted in the challenge.
There were many great entries submitted in the yesterday Prague/Czech Republic photo challenge and I had a hard time picking the best one. After a deliberate consideration, however, I decided to choose the following entry by @jamesqube:
This picture was taken near Prague Castle. There is a beautiful lookout point where many tourists make their selfies. I have the wall in the foreground from the entrance to Starbucks Cafe. Through the hole you have a nice view of the city.

I rewarded @jamesqube winning entry with some extra upvote. Feel free to visit her blog and check out some of her other photos.
Thank you for your submissions. Have a great day and keep on Steeming!

A small town in the Moravian-Silesian Region, Czech Republic, next to Kopřivnice. It lies on the slope of a forested lime hill, dominated by the Trúba castle tower. Because of the town's location, its many historical buildings and a unique collection of timbered houses from the 18th and 19th centuries, the town has been declared a municipal reserve and is nicknamed the Moravian Betlehem.
What a great view and a recommendation for a visit that some travel hungry visitors might find useful. Great entry to be featured for today's contest. Tomas
thank you very much! the view is from the village tower! Today I will try to upload one of the tower.
Black and white of view of a part of the historic center of Prague as seen from Naplavka, a kind of boardwalk located on the right bank of the River Vltava. Naplavka is brimming with life in summer as it is where youngesters from all the city gather to enjoy some chill while drinking beer and listening to live music, but as you can see, it has its charm in winter too :)
It´s not photo from Jurassic Park by S. Spielberg but it is rooftop Dinopark in Galerie Harfa. You will find there models of dinosaurs in life sizes, Children's paleontological playground and 4D cinema. My sister and her boys really enjoyed adventurous expedition;)
Photo of the John Lennon Wall in Prague. It started in the 80’s during the Communist regime as a form of protest by a group of students, by writing graffitis based on the songs of John Lennon and the Beatles. After the police cleaned the wall, the graffiti reappear the follwing days.
For this reason it is consider a symbol of the freedom of speech.
The paintings on the wall change continuously .
A very special bridge to visit. Pillars each evoking a story. Many visitors lounging on the bridge deck paved with cobblestones, listening to many musicians along the route and admiring the Prague Castle perched on the hill.
Charles Bridge
Wow, that image is just spectacular!
The cemetery church of All Saints with the ossuary. The kostnitsa is, perhaps, the most controversial monument that I have ever seen. There is all this in the Cemetery Church of All Saints in the town of Sedlec, near Kutná Hora. The church itself is small. He is already over 600 years old. The place is really controversial, but worthy of attention. Do I advise you to visit it? I will not advise, do not dissuade. Everyone must understand whether he needs to go there or not. Despite all the malice, to think about this place makes: what we are?
The guide told us that all these bones seemed to say: "Who are you now - were we, and who are we now - that will be you."
Thank you so much for this wonderful entry Jul! It sure is well worth a visit.
The Manes Association of Fine Artists is a functionalist complex of buildings built between 1928 and 1930. Next to it stands the Šitkov Water Tower, which was part of the Šítkovské mlýny, on which Mánes stands today. The complex is registered as a national monument of the Czech Republic.
Just yesterday I went around. But the Sun did not want my shot!
This picture was taken near charles bridge.
Can't miss this spot while visiting Prague! During the day the bridge unfortunately is totally crowded and can't reveal its beauty. I absolutely recommend getting up super early and head to the bridge before the sun goes up. Since there is hardly people you can fully enjoy the mystical atmosphere while you can watch the sundown. Amazing!
The St Wenceslas Chapel inside St Vitus Cathedral is an absolute gem. Beautifully colored frescoes decorate the upper half of the walls, while the lower half is set with over one thousand precious stones. The remains of the saint rest within an ornate reliquary. It is definitely one of my top three places in Prague!
another amazing thing about Prague that it has another great atmosphere and beauty during the night , i really loved the walk late at night till the sunrise. its priceless to be a witness to all the lights in the old town.
Rounda of St.Longinus, about 1100, Na Rybníčku, Nové Město, Praha 2
Emperor Charles IV. did not found the New Town of Prague "on a green meadow". Old settlements were here earlier. Centers of settlements were churches. Charles kept the churches.
Charles transferred the relics of St. Longinus from Italy to this rotunda, and Charles dedicated the church to him. (Originaly was the patron of rotunda St.Stephan..)
It's not UFO, it's the top of Jested mountain. I was there for the first time but during foggy night, so I didn't have possibility to enjoy nice view from the top. Any view to be honest.
Lol, it does look like an UFO though:)
This picture was taken at the main railway station in Prague. An old architecture with beautiful colors. Most travelers do not notice them because they are in such a hurry. But if you take your time and walk around the building with your eyes open, you will discover a lot of beauty.
One of my favorite places in the Czech Republic is the view of Charles Bridge in Prague, where there are a lot of swans that live near this bridge. It is such a natural beauty what these swans offer us that you are simply amazed.
Litomysl is a small town in the Czech Republic and among other nice things you can see this street with paintings on the wall. The street is called Ulice Josefa Vachala, it named after the painter and writer Josef Vachala. And on the walls you can see images and some words from one his book. Pretty cool!

Incredible as always!
Most beautiful mom with me at karlův most - charles bridge - ponte carlo - puente de carlos.
Very famous Charles bridge is worth of visiting, totally. Even though it is always overcrowded, you can still manage to see the beauty of river and take amazing pictures. There are also a lot of local street artists, selling pictures, jewellery and drawing portraits. Consider that there are a lot of burglars, so pay attention to your belongings.
That is botanicka zahrada - sklenik fata morgana- vystava orchideji.
So beautiful place with lots of trees from the world and amazing butterflies! Love this place! Unfortunately not allowed to use tripod inside...
I love this place.
This was my third visit to Prague. And again I was fascinated by the beauty of this wonderful city. This time I was in Prague on Christmas Eve. Not me to tell you all about the magic of the Christmas atmosphere. The smell of glentvein, cinnamon, baked pretzels - it's indescribable! Need to go and enjoy!
Thank you for sharing of my picture! :)
Excellent photography.

It is good to see the beautiful scenery of Czech.

Hi,
This is my entry for this contest,
The girl with the bubble in Prague
In my mind, Prague is one of the most beautiful and peaceful city in Europe. This photo was taken in Old Town Square or Chicken Square as the name my friend said. It is one of the most famous square in Prague. Here, we can see the gothic architecture of the church and the buildings. But one thing impressed more is the human being. Everyone smiles, they look so friendly. This girl is the Latin traveler, I guess. She look so happily when looking and playing with the bubbles. Everything creates the peaceful picture in the square that I never forget.
Best,
