Today, you can participate by submitting your personal pictures from your travels to the continent of Africa.

See the winner of the last week´s African Wednesday @karma-panorama with the following entry:

The Nile is the longest river in Africa. Surprisingly, even if it is generally associated with Egypt, only 22% of the Nile's course runs through Egypt.I traveled from north to south, so I had the chance to admire it from accros the country.

Chosen from the ten winning entries, the absolute winner of the day will receive extended publicity in my post tomorrow morning. I will also visit his/her blog to upvote one of the most recent posts. The winning picture of the daily challenge will then automatically enter other rounds with the absolute winner gaining approximately 200 Steem in total.

@jpphotography Australian Monday entry:

Lambs in New Zealand. In New Zealand, sheep are everywhere! Large areas of land are used for cattle farming and having so much space and great views, it comes to no surprise that New Zealand lamb meat is an export hit.

It’s been a while since I’ve had time to jump on Steemit, so it’s nice to see that the day I do that my favourite category is still going. Here’s a shot from the Antarctic peninsula of a spectacular backdrop and some super moody clouds.

Looking back at Cape Town South Africa on our way to Robin Island. Cape Town is a beautiful city with Table Mountain as the back drop. On the ferry keep an eye out for seals in the bay.

El Badi Palace, Marrakech

Constructed in the 16th century, El Badi Palace was one of the biggest and most glamorous palaces in the world, but was looted and destroyed shortly after. Today, the ruins bear witness of the giant dimensions of the palace.
