Hello fellow steemians,
I am starting the week #11 of my 7 World’s Continents Photo Challenge and we are back to the continent of Asia. If you like to participate then place your personal image from your travels within Asia in the comment section below with a short 30 to 50 word description. Only use of personal images will be accepted and the best 10 posts will get my upvote. I will then pick the best picture of that day that I will highlight in the separate post next day to bring the winner some extra publicity and personally visit the blog of that steemian and upvote his/her most recent post. The winning picture of the daily challenge will then automatically be entered into other rounds with the absolute winner gaining approximately 150 SBD in total. So far I have given out approximately $900 in upvotes and 135 SBD in rewards.
7 World’s Continents Photo Challenge after Asia today will be followed as per below rotation and then starting again with Asia on Sunday.

• Antarctica + the world’s oceans

This week I have come with another picture from Annapurna region, Mustang Nepal.
I don't really know the exact name of the place, but it's somewhere above kagbeni. The natural landscape is always stunning when it's the Himalayas. Additionally, those yellow trees made these places heavenly for me.
Fabulous image! Thank you so much for your contribution to the challenge.
My wife Nikki and I visited Cambodia two summers ago. We most wanted to see were the temples of Ankor Wat and Ankor Tom.
We were not disappointed at all. It was absolutely amazing to see the grandeur of what was once one of the greatest empires in the world.

What a great entry. Thank you so much for your contribution. Kindly stay tuned for the winner announcemnt. Tomas
Thank you Tomas, we really appreciate the contest and all that you add to Steemit!
Akihabara area in Tokyo. It is a district known for its electric town. I am not really an electronic nor manga fan. I was there to get my Japanese sim card, yet I was surprised by all the colorful buildings and advertisement boards on it. For me, this is how Tokyo should be like.
Thank you so much for your image submission. I did choose other entries to go further this time though.
No worries. Keep good contest going!
You can´t have enough Bali Sunsets
This shot is from few weeks back when we went on a Sunset Walk in Bali between Berawa Beach and Batu Bolong. Bali Sunsets are almost every day like this.
Simply stunning! I love your image.
thanks so much. I know its insane, I still keep looking at that photo. The thing is that it really looks like this nearly every evening. Bali sunsets are beautiful
The Matsushiro Castle is a highlight for anyone visiting Nagano, Japan. It was built in 1560 using the Chikuma River as a moat. Fires and earthquakes destroyed the castle twice but was rebuilt both times after and is now a National Historic Site. It was beautiful to see in late fall with the red flowers in bloom.
What a beautiful picture! Beautiful red colors.
Great Challenge :-) Here is my Picture for the Asian Sunday.
The the picture I took at Mirissa Beach on Sri Lanka last month. Quite fresh .-) Was lucky that this couple was there in this special moment with the forg behind in the hills.
That is a stunning picture! Kindly stay tuned for the winner announcement. Tomas
Thank you, here are very good pictures coming from others. Like them a lot.
Glad to be here for this Asian Sunday challenge :)
This is a view from Kawah Ijen, a volcano located near Banyuwangi in Indonesia. After I climbed to the top and went down into the crater during the night. This was the view I had on my way down as the sun had just rised. Sulfur smokes and fog, other volcanoes and dead trees still standing on the edge of the volcano.
Wow, fabulous entry! What an amazing picture!
This was my favorite restaurant when I traveled to Thailand to Kho Samui. It was so romantic to have dinner there in the evening with feet on cool sand. The waiter was always very friendly and amiable. There I made a wish and it became true!
Looks like a great place for a romantic dinner. Thank you so much for your contribution. Tomas
During a 12-hour stopover in Hong Kong I wanted to reach the highest point of the bay to make a picture of the bay. This ride was short but I'm happy to have done this panoramic during my stopover.
Wha a great effort during your short stop. What a great view. It was definitely worth it.
#India has to be one of the most diverse countries in the world. Took this in Manali, after what was one of the best road trips I've ever had.
Thank you so much for your submission. Kindly stay tuned for the winner announcement. Tomas
Grand Palace
Be sure to click on the image to view full screen!
The Grand Palace is a complex of Buildings, Tempel and the Palace itselfe at the heart of Bangkok. If you visite Bangkok it's one of the stops you should not miss out on. Go early in the morning, because it's always very busy.
Thank you so much for your great submission. Please stay tuned for the winner announcement coming soon. Tomas
This photo is a part of a giant sculpture (three floors high) of a trefoil knot with triangular base. It is a very interesting mathematical object. The glass ceiling add up to the abstract mood of the photo. The ceiling looks like a tessellation of the hyperbolic disk.
This sculpture is located at the central lobby of the Science and Technology Museum of Beijing (China).
Very interesting photo. I did choose other submissions to go further this time though. Thank you so much.
Near Annapurna Base Camp.
Older Image from my gallery, from annapurna base camp. As most of us know it is world's one of the most popular travel destination, recognized by many travel portal sites. This might be because this is a quite easier trail than others in Nepal(around moutain above 8000m plus height.) And I love those prayers flags everywhere.
Thank you so much for a submission. What a great place. I did choose other images to go further this time though. Tomas
Currently in Japan and took this photo today. It is a place called Shirakawa-go - a UNESCO site and is very famous for these special houses. Although it is currently winter and has a bit of snow, it is not enough to cover the rooftops yet. In the middle of winter, all the roofs will be filled with snow creating a fairy like scene.
Thank you so much for your entry. I did choos other pictures to go furhter this time around. Tomas
Captivating and breath taking.
