Hello fellow steemians,
I am starting the week #12 of my 7 World’s Continents Photo Challenge and we are back to the continent of Asia. If you like to participate then place your personal image from your travels within Asia in the comment section below with a short 30 to 50 word description. Only use of personal images will be accepted and the best 10 posts will get my upvote. I will then pick the best picture of that day that I will highlight in the separate post next day to bring the winner some extra publicity and personally visit the blog of that steemian and upvote his/her most recent post. The winning picture of the daily challenge will then automatically be entered into other rounds with the absolute winner gaining approximately 150 SBD in total. So far I have given out approximately $1200 in upvotes and 150 SBD in rewards.
7 World’s Continents Photo Challenge after Asia today will be followed as per below rotation and then starting again with Asia on Sunday.

By the lake of Kyoto, I witness a stunning scene, where flower and water intertwine. Engraved on the stone signage stated four poetic Japanese characters 「流水之櫻」, which translates as the flowing stream’s Sakura. Sakura is such a romantic creation by God.
Thank you for your participation. Kindly stay tuned for the winner announcement coming soon. Tomas
Hong Kong is such an incredible city. There's a beauty of the modern city set against the natural landscape of mountains and ocean. There are so many great places to see incredible views of the city. However, I was lucky enough to have this one from my hotel room at the Conrad. And it's all about timing to be awake to see a gorgeous sunrise here.
Great work buddy!
Thanks! Likewise. Your Guilin photos are incredible!
What a fabulous shot! I love it.
Wow so many great entries already!!!
Guilin - once again
The area around Guilin, China, offers so many great photography spots. The rice terraces, the Karst landscape, small villages and the Li River and its sidearms.
This shot was takes from one of the "Karst" hills with the iphone 6s. I like it a lot😃
Great start into the week everybody!
What a great image! Thank you so much for your submission. Tomas
A rainy Day Around Himalayas
Took this picture with smartphone while was in trekking around Manang Nepal. It was a hard day because of contineous rainfall which caused large drop in temperature. You can see in the picture how green moutains turning into white due to heavy snowfall above.
Beautiful entry. Please stay tuned for the winner announcement coming soon. Tomas
It is normally sunny and hot in Tel-Aviv. But happens some bad weather periods during winter time
So we were quite "lucky" to catch some while travelling in February

I took this in South Korea during Autumn of last year. I had no idea how beautiful Seoul is until we went there, and I'm so glad we went in Autumn - the colours of all the trees are insane!
Thank you so much for your participation by submitting this wonderful image. I truly appreciate your support in the challenge. Tomas
Man the colors are just so amazing. This really is a great shot.
Bhairab Kunda, Also Known as Bish Kunda
In Hinduism, Bhairab means an extreme form of Lord Shiva and Kunda means pool/pond. This is situated in Langtang national park,Rasuwa,Nepal. This is one out of 108 holy alpine fresh water lakes around Gosaikunda,a very sacred place for Hindu and Buddhist situated at 4380m above sea level.
Beautiful image! Fabulous entry!
I'm not sure if you count Tonga as Asia, but i personally would, since its close to Fiji and there are strong ties to Asia. Anyway i spend several month over the last years in the Kingdom of Tonga, swiming with Humpback whales. One of the few palces in the world where you can actually get close to the whales. Once in a lifetime experience. If you need any onformation i can hook you up with people there :) This picture was taken on one of the little islands of Vava'u where we had lunch after a great morning with the whales.
Thank you for your participation. Great image! Kindly stay tuned for the winner announcement coming soon!
Watching the other side of the Buriganga river from Sadarghat.
A colourful view of the old part of the Bangladeshi capital where the boats traffic is quite busy and the waters are shared between small wooden human powered boats and huge cruisers.
Location: Dhaka, Bangladesh.

The Forbidden City, in Beijing, it is wonderful place from the photographic point of view, with many details. As everybody knows it was the residence of the emperors of China. In this photo I show a corridor, it has an interesting perspective. The colour red is an important colour in Chinese culture and it is the dominant colour of the Forbidden City.
I've been there:) I haven't seen so many people in one place before. Also shot the alleys in the Forbidden City as well as in the Summer Palace.
Thank you for your participation. Due to a big amount of entries, I will be picking other images to go further this time around. Thank you and have a great day. Tomas
About 1 hour from where I live is the city of Murakami, also known as the Salmon Capital. The clean mountain rivers around the city are great places to catch this fish and all over the city you have places which sell the smoked delicacy.

This little baby monkey on the beach of Railay in Thailand was not afraid of me at all. I could literally walk 2 metres up to it and photograph it while just watched curiously with it's mouth still red from the berries it just ate. Maybe it thought I can't see him behind the leaves.
