When I traveled to Israel last summer I had the opportunity to visit the historic Western Wall and Dome of the Rock in Jerusalem. The Western Wall refers to the west wall of the Temple Mount. Since the Temple Mount has restrictions for entry, the wall became a holy place for Jewish people to pray. For me, one of the most interesting parts of this experience was watching the devoutly religious approach the wall that clearly means so much to them.

That's a cool shot.

Lonely farmer in Yangshuo
About an 1 hour drive south from Guilin is the smaller city Yangshuo. The area is really scenic, not as crowded and you can enjoy many outdoor activities. We went rafting and biking. This photo shows a farmer on his rice fields. They even have cattle running around along the river:)

I love how green everything is!

Boudhanath Stupa, Kathmandu Nepal.

This time I have this stunning capture of Boudhanath Stupa, a biggest Stupa in Kathmandu and Nepal. Well are also many other Boudhist stupas and Monastery inside Kathmandu valley too, but Boudhnath is one of the Famous one after Shyambunath.

Great click! What a capture. Thank you so much for your submission. Tomas

Marina Bay light show. While visiting Singapore, I decided to see this place everyone was telling me about: Marina Bay. I also heard of a light show that was going on every day and I was hoping to see it for myself... Here it is:

Location: Marina Bay, Singapore.

That is quite a show! Thanks for sharing!

TokyoCold.jpg

I took this shot a couple of weeks ago from a hotel bar in Shinagawa. It's looking North towards Tokyo Tower (332.9 metres or 1,092 ft). At the time of construction in 1958 Tokyo Tower was the tallest freestanding tower in the world, taking the title from the Eiffel Tower by 13 metres. Depending on where you draw the boundaries there are between 9 million and 38 million people living in Tokyo.

This picture located in sarangkot ,pokaha ,nepal which is only 5 km from Lake Side from Pokhara and highest view point at 1592m high for Sunrise and Sunset view over the snowy peaks. Sarangkot can be reached easily by 45 minutes by a car ride to the top from Pokhara and then 45 minutes hike up to the main view point.
This is the beautiful and mesmerizing view of sunset and amazing village ☺☺

hope you all like it ..

What a sunrise!

I was walking down the beach in the little island of Koh Tao, Thailand, when without even realising it, the sun was gone and fishermen began to unload their catch of the day. This interesting palm tree caught my eye as soon as it lit up. The entire scene seemed like a fairy tale in that moment.

Shanghai, the most populous city of China. The skyline of Pudong is a must-see tourist spot at night even do the smog makes it hard to fully appreciate it. Crossing the river and walking trough the buildings is a good way to realize how big they really are.

Thank you so much for your participation. Kindly stay tuned for the winner announcement coming later on in a separate post.

This was taken last year when we go to a trip in Albay, Philippines. This is the perfect coned shape volcano, the Mayon Volcano. I took this picture because of the perfect reflection of its image in the ricefield with water. This volcano explodes last January 2018. Mayon is the one of the many tourist destination here in the Philippines.

Volcanoes constantly intervene throughout life in Indonesia. Even when they are asleep they can affect for example the weather. Sulawesi volcanoes all day collect clouds around themselves. And then it rains. But for divers from all over the world, volcanoes meanse black sand.
And it is on black volcanic sand under water that most unusual creatures dwell. And every evening you look like the sun set behind volcanoes and you think of who else you will be able to see on the next day.

We were at Harbour City in Tsim Sha Tsui, Hong Kong. My wife was doing some last minute shopping before our wedding, while I just just wondering around. I caught a glimpse of the sunset and so came out to the shopping centre's terrace just in time to see the sun setting behind Victoria Peak, back by the silhouette of the buildings across the Victoria harbour. The smog of the city diffuses the orange sunset through the whole sky. I quickly took some pictures before I was summoned back inside for some more shopping.

Miyashima, Japan

This little island near Hiroshima is popular all around the year. The atmosphere in late fall is really charming since lots of trees are changing colors, the nearby shrines and temples are put into some different light, and are warming up before the winter season will set.

We took this photo in Phuket Thailand at the resort we are staying in. The view was simply stunning and the water was so clear! Its a rare sight I have been to Thailand a few times and the water has never been this clear. It just looks so peaceful!

This photo was taken high up in the mountains on Langkawi island, Malaysia. The cable car here is one of the steepest in the world taking you up 708m above sea level. Once you are there you can enjoy the breathtaking views of the surrounding islands, or take a walk across the SkyBridge the longest free span and curved bridge in the World.

This was the grounds of a hidden Shinto temple close to Sendai, which was a very peaceful and serene place. Round the back was a nice Japanese garden with a few Bonsai trees.

The Japanese culture is so awesome. I lived there from 1988-1992 and I loved seeing stuff like this. They have such a deep rooted culture that goes back for thousands of years. When you visit places like this, it is sort of like traveling back in time and escaping the busy world we live in today.

Definitely, and they emphasise the importance of these kinds of places, perhaps more than most countries in the world.

the most popular tour in Cambodia, the UNESCO site of Angkor Wat. The iconic landscape and visiting the surrounding temples will impress the visitor, then come out in the heat of the day, the temple jumps to admire the ancient ruins and explore what is hidden behind every corner.

this photo was made at the streets of Beiging during 3 days stopower on the way to Phillipines. I like to look for and photograph reflections, so when I saw this mirror showcase with hieroglyphs in the alley I just need to wait for a suitable story.

It's very nice reflection indeed!

My submission this week is the Itsukushima Shrine or the "floating " tori gate. It is a pretty famous structure in Japan. I think it's in almost every guidebook and it's most certainly on a ton of postcards. The scale of the gate is really impressive - at low tide you can actually walk out to it. Worth a visit if you're ever in the south of Japan.

For today's Asian theme I am sharing a photo from Taipei, capital of Taiwan. It's taken at the Chiang Kai-shek Memorial Hall, that's the building that you can see in the back. I was lucky to get there during Panda Tour, an exhibition of an artist that created hundreds of small pandas and then places them at various buildings for a short time. Enjoy this special view! Actually, if you'd like to see live panda, you can go to the Taipei Zoo!

This architectural work of art is one the world’s largest mosques, with a capacity for an astonishing 40,000 worshippers. It features 82 domes, over a 1,000 columns, 24 carat gold gilded chandeliers and the world's largest hand knotted carpet. The main prayer hall is dominated by one of the world’s largest chandeliers –10 metres in diameter, 15 metres in height and weighing twelve tonnes. The mosque's first ceremony was the funeral of its namesake, Sheikh Zayed, who is buried at the site.

Reflective pools surround the mosque, amplifying its beauty. The striking white and gold colours shining in the sun are transformed at night by a unique lightning system which reflects the phases of the moon.

Enjoy the scenery :)

Photo taken in The Forbidden City, Beijing, China. These corridors are quite common and give an interesting perspective. The red colour is vastly used in the Chinese culture and it is associated with prosperity. So many buildings use this colour.

This is one of the few places where in the wild there is a possibility to swim with the northern sea lions (Steller's sea lion, sea king), the biggest eared seals on our planet. If you are not afraid of icy water and males weighing more than a 1000 kg, welcome, they are waiting for you!:)

You're pictures are always so fun to look at. They always show a view of the world that the majority of us never see.

Happiness is what we all are looking for, happiness is what we all are fighting for, and Happiness is what we all are struggling for, we are finding happiness in money, and we just want happiness for us. Look at these flowers they spread Fragrance, they spread happiness and they don’t want anything in return. Be like Flower and spread Happiness  Free Happiness 

This shot is taken in Chand Boari - the ancient stepwell located in Abhaneri, India. It is one of the largest and most beautiful stepwells in the world. For now, it is not used as a well anymore but becomes a tourist spot.

I took this photo on or way up to Zhangjiajie National Forest Park hunan in china which is the landscape the movie " Avatar" was based on . We caught the cable carts up to get to the top of the mountain. The view from the top was amazing! so many of these rock pillars surround the landscape and so many monkeys up there :)

It takes me three hours to reach the top of Eagle Nest Peak located in Hunza valley Pakistan. Here's the view I'm sharing with you people, It was magical feeling standing there on top, I can't explain in 30 to 50 words.

Lider Waterfall's, like being in a big wellbore with a cliff wall that stood upright, as if split by a very clear water fountain. The location is on the slope of Mount Raung Banyuwangi, East Java-Indonesia and located at an altitude of 1300 meters above sea level. Of the many waterfalls in Banyuwangi, Lider waterfall is the extreme terrain and the highest with a height of 100 meters.

Singapore at Day, September 2017. This is a typical day scenery from the upper floor of Marina Bay Sands Mall. It was a good day, as we were blessed with a good weather – perfect for strolling and sightseeing.

The Egg Lady cart is unattended in Bangkok, Thailand. I’m waiting for her to come back so I can get some yummy steamed eggs and sweet potatoes. The utility wires and equipment are a bonus as in most of my Bangkok photos.

View of Mumbai Central,India.
I took this picture from top of Nathani tower, which is located in the middle of Mumbai Central,

Mumbai is second most crowded city in the world With a population density of 44,500 people per square kilometre.

This photo was taken by using asus ZenFone max.

This is my photo when I am in Indonesia, Precisely in aceh, very beautiful scenery with mountains and lake.

The lake is called fresh sea, That is the uniqueness of this island, Karna the taste of sea water tasteless, To my knowledge, Nothing in this world the sea that taste fresh water.

If you want to feel the beauty of the mountains there, you may come to Aceh, indonesia.Disana you will be pampered with the scenery and atmosphere is very cool, even in the hot sun though, the atmosphere is still cool.

thank you

Unfortunately, I was busy doing some work so I did not participate in this week's challenge.

"Yến" stream is a main way to "Huơng Tích" cave. From "Bến Đục", situated next to "Đáy" river, we walked about 1,5 km to "Bến Yến", then take a boat in "Yến" stream about 4 - 5 km to the "Bến Trong". Yến Stream (or Yến Vĩ) is a stream in tourist attractions of Hương Pagoda (Đục Khê village, Huơng Tích commnue, Mỹ Đức district, Hanoi).
