Hello fellow Steemians!
I am starting the week #30 of my 7 World’s Continents Photo Challenge and we are back to the continent of Asia.
If you like to participate, place your personal image from your travels in Asia in the comment section below with a short 30 to 50 word description. Only use of personal images will be accepted and only one picture can be submitted for a daily photo challenge. Ten winning photos will receive a bigger upvote from me and ten runners-up will get a smaller one.
Chosen from the ten winning entries, the absolute winner of the day will receive extended publicity in my post tomorrow morning. I will also visit his/her blog to upvote one of the most recent posts. The winning picture of the daily challenge will then automatically enter other rounds with the absolute winner gaining approximately 200 SBD in total. So far I have given out thousands of dollars in upvotes and hundreds of SBD in rewards.

My trip to Israel last year is one of my very favorites I've taken in the last few years. There's so much incredible history to see here. This is David's Tomb in Jerusalem, the burial place for David, King of Israel. While most historians don't believe King David is actually buried here, this is still an incredibly holy and revered building for Jews, Christians, and Muslims. And still standing after many centuries, this building is a wonderful example of inspiring architecture.
Beautiful black and white shot. I love the detail in the brick.
This is one of the river areas in the city of Lhokseumawe, Aceh, located in the westernmost province of Indonesia. The river is a part of human life, like a low-income fisherman, a river is a source of income for him to seek sustenance by catching fish, or keeping fish in a cage and then selling it back when harvested. In addition, the river is also very useful as a place of irrigation channels, recreation areas, transportation facilities, power plants, and also locations for business. In Indonesia, the river region is one of the world's maritime shafts.
This is a moment for me to get the beauty of the sky at dusk with amazing colors in the river area, and this I get when one day was in the river to photograph the activities of traditional fishermen.

Yeah thank you for your flattery, tomas!🙏🏼
The colors are amazing.
Thanks, hope you enjoy it!
Very warm and colorful photo.
Lake Baikal, Russia
Lake Baikal is one of the most evocative places in the country. Like Russia itself, it is vast and ancient, perhaps one of the oldest lakes in the world. An enormous lake formed by the shifting of tectonic plates, Baikal’s blue depths contain roughly one-fifth of the world’s fresh surface water. It’s staggering in its size and depth, and stunning in its beauty.
That place must be so fierce during winter but yet so beautiful!
The Malaysian island Langkawi is an amazing place to explore by scooter! After one day of driving around the island, I found myself looking at this beautiful sunset, so I stopped on the roadside to capture the silhouette of this mosque in the last light of the day.
That is amazing! Such a great silhouette of the buildings.
Stunning! I love exploring by a scooter when in Asia, spot on.
Stunning warm colors of hot sunset combined with amazing deep red colours of the dunes of United Arab Emirates. Shot taken while safari trip through the dunes on Land Cruisers.
Got short stop closer to sunset to make few shot, pity not so long time to find much better position
Enjoy it!

What a beautiful image! Truly stunning.
This was taken on a cruise on the Yangtze River, China. During sunset, the beautiful clouds were turned orange and purple, against a background of layered mountains in the depths of the valley that almost looked blue under the diminishing light. Very beautiful.
What a wonderful entry! Thank you so much.
Thank you Tomas! Really happy that you liked the photo!
Indonesia is a country known for its diversity, be it culture, custom, language, even religion.
such as a region called Aceh, the Aceh region is located on the most end of Sumatra island is storing a warehouse of natural charm and a beautiful history, even its worldwide culture.
like this one history,
Yes Baiturrahman Great Mosque is a symbol of religion, and a silent witness to the struggle of nationalism of Acehnese people, as well as the Aceh Tsunami Tragedy in 2004 ago, which devastated the land of this Veranda of Mecca.
The mosque is located right in the center of Banda Aceh City and is the pride of the Acehnese People.
Beautiful Silhouette Brother 👏👏👏👏👏
What a wonderful entry! Thank you so much for participating. Tomas
Pulau Keluang is an island located in Lamno, Aceh Jaya district, Aceh, Indonesia. This island we can see and enjoy the beauty from the top of Mount Geurutee. And the most beautiful moment is we can see directly the sunset or often called sunset. The beauty of Keluang island we can enjoy in the daytime and at dusk until sunset.
Picturesque! What a wonderful entry!
thank you @czechglobalhosts 🙏
I will always try to give the best work for you. I hope you keep giving a good response 🙏
One of the best things to do in Bali is watching the sun light up or down the sky in brilliant hues of pink, orange, and purple as it dips below the horizon with an ice cool drink in hand, of course.
Tanah Lot is one of Bali’s most important landmarks, famed for its unique offshore setting and sunset.
What an amazing image! I just love it. Well done!
Thank you Tomas I’m glad you like it :)
This is the photo I took in Tam Giang Lagoon, Hue, Vietnam. From nowhere, the clouds broke. Shafts of sunlight shone straight down through the break, creating a very spooky effect. It's a very special moment in time that I was incredibly lucky to witness.

Hong Kong is famous for seafood and there is a place called Li Yue Mun where many locals go. I captured this night view one summer evening after I went there for dinner with my friends. This is an alternate to the stunning skyscaper night view normally seen in Hong Kong
Fabulous image! Thank you so much for your participation. Have a great day. Tomas
Thank you...
This picture i took on sunset trip at Thailand at Phang Nga province from boat of my friend. There is thousands of small tall islands from Lemon stone witch make this place awesome for watch sunset from the boat. Looks like sun its really touching land.
Going down Mount Kawah Ijen to see the sun rising in the sky is probably one of the most mind-blowing thing I have done in my entire life. Climbing at night, breathing this sulfur smoke only to be the middle of an apocalyptic landscape... And what a view!
Location: Banyuwangi, Indonesia.
Great picture. I did a blog post about Ijen a couple of days ago.
Chitral national park is the epitome of heaven on Earth the beauty of North Pakistan isn't justified with this picture but nonetheless I have tried to spread it throughout the world.

Mesmerizing Tilicho Lake.
This picture is of Lake Tilicho(Tilicho Lake), the Highest/biggest Lake in the World with altitude of almost 5000 meters from Sea. Tilicho Lake is considered as one of the best place to be in the world for nature lovers. The lake lies at Manang district of Nepal which is also the route to Annapurna Base Camp or ABC trekking.
the waves hit hard
Solve the rocks very hard
foam flows freely
toward the open sea
here I stand tall
without any intention to wrestle
just go live
for the fishermen to laugh someday
fishermen no longer complain
even more difficult to throw anchor
countless sweat
fuel continues to soar. God the owner of life
do not you blow a storm
because they rarely eat
and do not know where to build hope

The terraced field in Mu Cang Chai, Vietnam
The terraced field is the typical geographic symbol in Northern, Vietnam. Many travel tours in Northern Vietnam now are related to this kind of field. To go there, the trip likes an adventure, we need to climb up on the small and tough road. But, it will be the good experience for traveler. In the harvesting time, the whole mountain becomes yellow of the ripe rice. The small house near the filed is like the decoration for the picture. This picture you can only see it in some countries in the world, mostly in Asia.
Hope that you guys like it.
Best,
My Entry

Thik is Lukla Airport of my country Nepal. Lukla is a town in Solukhumbu, the gateway to world top mountain Everest. As Edmund Hillary and Tenzing norgay sherpa for the first time climb mount Everest in the world, this airport is named as Tenzing Hillary Airport to honour them. It is ranked number 1 in world most dangerous airport in world.
"The Basilica of Rome"
I photographed this photo during my trip to Antalya / Turkey. Aspendos Ancient City is not only Anatolia, but the best preserved city of the Mediterranean World. And he has hosted Roman theater. It was the structure that impressed me the most. briefly history;
MS 1.-2. It is a structure dated to centuries. In the Hellenistic period, a typical Roman basilica was built on the Market building on the eastern edge of the Agora, during the Roman period. Depending on the purpose of this construction, some ideas about the function of the Hellenistic Market building can also be carried out. It may have been rearranged from the Hellenistic period to the model of a city connected to the Roman empire.

The season is short and therefor so precious, at the end when the blossoms are falling down it becomes impossible to not feel the beauty of this spectacle, every of our senses wants to soak up this sensation of beauty to the fullest, before it is gone and a cloud of sadness starts lingering around. I love this season!
I am for last time I posted my pics on the wrong post. But I guess this time I'm at right place. Here is some pictures from India and clicked by me. Hope you like them.
The Edge of the Mesopotamia
Here is Mardin, we are looking forward the endless Mesopotamia Plain now... In front of us there is a long minaret belongs to Mardin Ulu Mosque which was transformed from a church as it is said....and It has standed in Mardin since 1176 but it is also said it has a more history before 1176 and it is about the Roman Empire as i know.Meanwhile we can see only one minaret but the mosque had two and it lost one minaret by an earthquake or a thunderbolt...Actually it is said so ,by rumours...
Unique karst (limestone) formations containing caves inside along with longtail boats dominate the Krabi province of Thailand. This is near Railay beach, where rock climbers come from all over the globe to take up the challenge of climbing these formidable cliffs. There are no roads or walking trails in this region and the only way to get there is via the iconic longtail boats.
This is most attractive and peaceful place that i have ever visited. Tourists usually visit this place mostly from march to july. I love rafting and cold and pure of Ganga River. If you ever get a chance to visit India, i advice you to visit this place once.
Hello @czechglobalhosts
I took this photo on a cruise ship in lake van in Turkey, a dreamy lake, with beautiful nature and very clear water that you enjoy it, when we were going back from Akdamar Island to van city five years ago, On this beautiful island, there are many places to swim in the clean waters of the beach. That's why it's called Akdamar, Akdamar in Turkish means white vein! There is an old church with beautiful architecture and a great cafe in the western part of the island that serves the finest Turkish cuisine,
This photo is taken by me from our cruise ship...
This photo I capture when I travel to the Flores Island (Indonesia). I have the opportunity to enjoy a very special atmosphere that is to travel to the Kelimutu Lake. Access to the Kelimutu Lake is already very good for pedestrians, and along the way really enjoys with the extraordinary natural beauty.
Kelimutu Lake is located in Kelimutu Mountain which is known to be still active until now. Mount of Kelimutu is the only mountain that has three lakes is the first crater lake named Tiwu Ata Polo, the second crater lake named Tiwu Nua Muri Kooh Fai, and the third crater lake named Tiwu Ata mBupu.
Volcanoes of Stratovolcano type with the result of a terrible eruption make Kelimutu Mountain form three lakes with the top of the mountain covered by thick pyroclastic deposits.
The uniqueness of this Kelimutu mountain has three crater lakes which each have a different water color to each other caused by differences in chemical composition.
What is a beautiful place!

I took this picture in Nepal during Annapurna Circuit Trek. We were walking almost all day with heavy backpacks so it was really relaxing just sit somewhere, observe and rest. Maybe that's why we always were last to check in at some guest houses on our way.
