I've been lucky enough to visit Dhaka, Bangladesh twice in my travels around the world. This photo is from Sonargaon, a historic center in the Ganges delta just outside of Dhaka. I believe this is Bara Sardar Bari, a 500-year old building complex that was renovated and reopened in 1902. I was completely captivated by the bright pink building set against the lush green landscape.
Nice man, I've been there myself and I found it amazing. Sadly the villagers does not realise that this place is part of their heritage.
Check my entry, I've posted something from Bangladesh too.
That building is so cool with the two different colors. Great shot.
Travel with no fear, live with no regrets!
This picture i took 2 days ago at Laem Krating at Phuket with drone DJi Mavic pro Platinum. Its bit harder to get to this place because the access its far way of walk on rocks and bit o climbing..:) I hope you will enjoy.
Wow! That is very cool!
Thank you my friend
The Sensō-ji is a famous temple at the Asakura district of Tokyo. It is actually the oldest temple in Tokyo, and it is one of the must seen places in Tokyo. In front of the temple grounds is a market selling various Japanese snacks and souvenirs that is very popular for both tourists and locals. The buildings looks especially magical during twilight.
Fabulous image! Thank you so much for your great contribution.
This man is carrying a basket full of bricks in his head. The bricks arrived by boats and are carried to the construction site by a few men walking with these basket on their head.
It takes a lot of skills to do the same...
Location: Dhaka, Bangladesh.
Great shot! I've seen that exact thing in Dhaka myself. It's incredible the amount of balance and control needed to do that for a full day's work.
That is incredible! I saw something similar in Palawan, Philippines but they were getting the sand out of ocean to use it for constructions. Like in the old days!
They are working like ants with little tool and technology. It is incredible to see how much they can accomplish with so little. I remember thinking how lucky I was to be born in a country that's not in the third world and how unfair the diversity of our planet is when I was taking this picture!
Magic hour in Ulee Lheue Beach, Banda Aceh. Located on the coast of the Indian Ocean and bordering on the mainland of Ujong Pancu, which is the tip of the land on the island of Sumatra, Indonesia.
This beach is not very popular among the people, in contrast to Lhoknga beach that is visited by many tourists. The people who come here are just for fishing or just playing beach ball. The parents bring their children to play water, but not too crowded.
It's nice to enjoy the twilight atmosphere here, with wonderful clouds and sky filled with beautiful colors in magic hour.

What a wonderful image! Thank you so much for sharing.
Thank you so much Tomas :)
The main reason for visiting the Cambodian city of Siem Reap is of course its proximity to the ancient temple ruins of Angkor. Many people don't know that there is a very beautiful temple also directly in the city center. Wat Preah Prom Rath is such a quiet and peaceful place, without masses of tourists - ideal for relaxing and taking amazing shots.
Very true! A cool getaway from Angkor. I visited that temple too but didn't get such an amazing shot like yours. Looks so serene and peaceful with the colors and lighting.
Thanks a lot, I'm glad that you like it! 🙂
Such a cool shot. I love Asian Sundays because there is so much culture in all of these shots. This is a perfect example of that.
Thank you so much! 🙂
That is pretty terrific image! Thank you so much for sharing. Tomas
Thank you, Tomas! Nice to know that you like it! 😊
Gyatso and Pang La are the two high passes you cross enroute to Everest Base Camp from New Tingri in Tibet. The entire route up to the passes is dull, however, nothing prepares you for the breathtaking views of the Everest and neighbouring peaks from Pang La. From here on the views only get better. Once I reached Rongbuk, the weather decided to play hide and seek. This is the best picture I could muster from Pang La. The Everest!
Wow, that’s amazing!
Thank you very much!
Thank you so much for your participation with this stunning image!
The terraced field in Sapa, Vietnam
Sapa is famous tourism spot in Vietnam, and also in Asia. Sapa is located in Lao Cai province, mountain area in Northern, Vietnam. In here, the weather is cool everyday in the whole year. It is the place for us to avoid the hot summer of tropical weather in Vietnam. The atmosphere is pure and clean, the people is so friendly. Here, the best landscape is the terraced field. In time of Autumn comes, it is also the time of rice ripe. That's why all the mountain here will be covered by yellow color of rice. It creates the best picture of Sapa in the whole year.
Best.
Thank you so much for your amazing entry!
I took this photo on Gili Trawangan Island it's about a 2 hour boat ride from Bali Indonesia. Watching the sunset here was just perfect, bean bags on the beach with 2 for 1 cocktails and the swing cemented into the ocean set the perfect scene for relaxation. I highly recommend visiting Gili T if your ever in Bali :)
Wow! Such a beautiful sunset. Just epic!
Was such an epic sunset!

This is Xijiang Qianhu Miao ethnic village in Southwest China. It's like a big living museum showing the local charm of the Miao minority which is known for its spectacular natural setting, lavish embroidery, batiks, silver jewelry and herb medicine. I climbed to a hilltop and captured this breathtaking view. The traditional wooden houses were built along the slopes surrounded by lush rice paddies.
Such a nice shot!
Thank you! =)
Incredible shot Donica!
Thanks Wes! :)
Back to the Pirates age! Well, if you go for vacation to Turkey, you will see a lot of "Pirate" ships there, but with a lot of tourists on board having a lot of fun... :)
Shot at Side couple years ago on a stunningly colourful sunset. And yes, this white dot is the moon...
Enjoy the scenery :)

The gardens by the bay are one of Singapore's most popular sights, but this view from the gardens on the Marina Bay Sands is not the most common photo! I wonder what the sculpture is doing there..
Unique photo. Memories are awake...:-)
This is my entry for the Asian Sunday:
I took this photo at Khao Khitchakut at Chanthaburi. I do not like only the amazing landscape and the beautiful temples in Thailand, I also like all the small things and details you can see, If you open the eyes.
Khao Khitchakut is a holy Mountain in the central part of Chanthaburi Province, in Eastern Thailand.

One of the best mountain view I've ever seen in my life. I took this photo in Himalayas in Nepal just after crossing the highest point of my trekking (5416m). I felt really proud that I managed to do it.
Great shot!
Thank you :)
I love Asia and have been lucky to spend a lot of time there.
This photo is taken from the front seat of a Taipei MRT train heading into the city after a day in the suburbs. The train passing through the sound barrier tunnel with an oncoming train as a bonus. Taiwan is a wonderful place to visit.
Very nice, The perspectives are awesome :)
Thank you @vinceboisgard.

Bali is famous for many things but the best of all - are the sunsets. The picture was taken in Canggu August 2017. The sunset was so spectacular I couldn't stop taking pictures for about an hour. Those are the original colors and the best shot I manage to produce. Cheers, Eva

Also known as Salmon City, this city's surrounding are just a paradise for salmon lovers. Green mountains and pristine rivers lure this king of fish into it's territories. The city even has a Salmon museum and countless places to try, eat and buy this delicacy
Beautiful. I like it.
This is the view at sunset from Lhoknga beach, Aceh, Indonesia, which is also directly adjacent to the Indian Ocean. The photo I took at dusk from Lhoknga beach was seen a ship passing to the harbor of a cement plant located in the coastal area of Lhoknga.
This coastal area in addition to the direct border with the Indian Ocean is one of the best places in Aceh, especially for traveling and surfing. In addition to the big waves, Lhoknga beach also has various panoramas at sunset.

Jomalig Island - Quezon Province-Philippines
If you want to just pause with that noisy surroundings of the city I can recommend this island of jomalig. With a very low budget you will really have that peace and quiet feeling that you're looking for.
I do hope to have the chance to come back to that paradise. YOU MUST GO TO THIS PLACE! ^_^
Taal Volcano is a complex volcano located on the island of Luzon in the Philippines. It is the second most active volcano in the Philippines with 33 historical eruptions. All of these eruptions are concentrated on Volcano Island, an island near the middle of Taal Lake.
before i start i want to say thanks to @czechglobalhosts
having chosen my content to get into the top 10 on the 7 continent's challenges last week.
and for this content I choose fishing activity in the morning when looking for fish at sea.
Why, because I see so many stories here, from the struggle of getting up in the morning, preparing all the tools that will be in use, to walk into the vast ocean, all for the sake of making a living to survive.
I took this picture, on the coast of Ulee_Lheu Banda Aceh City as the sun began to rise.
taken with | Canon EOS 700D camera
Lens | Thamron 70-300
setting | f/9.0 ,70.0/mm ,ISO : 100

Chitwan National Park preserves more than 50 species of Mammals. One of the major attraction of Chitwan National Park is one-horned Rhinoceros, another endangered Big Animal. If you are lucky enough you may see Bengal Tiger too.
The famous Orangutan House in Melaka, Malaysia. I was in the site just walking around on the weekend and randomly came up on it. It was really cool to see the building in person.
An ancient temple in the Angkor Wat complex in Cambodia. Being one of the largest religious monuments ever constructed in the world in the 12th century, now nature has taken over most of the temples in this incredible architectural masterpiece. Different color moss decorate the structures while trees have tangled their roots into the foundations and walls of the buildings.
This place is one of my dream spots to photograph. I could probably spend a few days taking pictures there. Great shot.
Thank you so much! Yes, it is an incredible place to get lost in and discover so many treasures, from the small carved details on the walls to the giant Buddha face structures. I spent 3 days there and ended up revisiting many of the temples as one time was not enough to take it all in.
This picture popped up on my Facebook (and yes I still check it once a day) and this portraits popped up. Back than I wasn't thinking too much of it but now after some years, it really grows on me. It was taken at the Kataragama temple town in Sri Lanka.

Surfing is an activity that every day tourists do come to LhokNga precisely in Kuala Cut which is a surfing location that has been known to foreign countries. On this beach the tourists can also enjoy the beautiful sunset after surfing while walking along the beach.
Asian stories, of course, can not be excluded from the Baiturrahman Great Mosque which became the icon of religious tourism in Aceh. This mosque is so popular, even a place that is always visited by people while visiting Aceh. If not surprised if aceh always, crowded, get local or foreign tourists.
The mosque in the center of this city not only offers religious sensations, but a lot of history that you can learn here.
No wonder also if this mosque became the pride of the people of Aceh, even this mosque became the Top 10 Greatest Mosque in Indonesia.
Yours sincerely to @czechglobalhosts
Thank you

My picture is from a Hindu temple called "Batu Cave" in Kuala Lumpur. I just came to see this giant statue and it was worth actually.. . Do you see the hundreds of stairs next to it? I wanted to go up and see the cave but when I arrived there it was almost 8 pm and closed.. I begged to the officer to let me go ;) Hopefully he allowed me and I went up and saw the cave and the other statues.
While hiking in Nepal, we met these lovely girls. They laughed a lot at my walking poles, but were very fond of them once they had hustled them from me. It actually took their mom shouting and waiving her kitchen knife to make the girls surrender their loot, but in the end I got my poles back.
Hello @czechglobalhosts, here is my submission for Asian Sunday week.
The fire blazing sky. this shot was taken at the time of sunset from my roof top and the place is dhaka, Bangladesh. I tried to show the beauty of sky in this shot. It's a panorama shot that's why this is a wide photo.

Location: Lanzhou, Gansu Province, China
When I visited the west of China several years ago, I took this picture of The Yellow River.
The Yellow River basin has an east–west extent of about 1,900 km. Its basin was the birthplace of ancient Chinese civilization, and it was the most prosperous region in early Chinese history. It also has the largest river sediment in the world, hence the name. This section of the river lies in Lanzhou, the capital city of Gansu Province in China, a modern city and a transportation hub of West China.
Al-Aqsa is the name of the silver-domed mosque inside a 35-acre compound referred to as al-Haram al-Sharif, or the Noble Sanctuary, by Muslims, and as the Temple Mount by Jews. The compound lies in the Old City of Jerusalem, which has been designated a World Heritage site by the United Nations cultural agency, UNESCO, and is important to the three Abrahamic religions.
The picture is of Shashwat Dham - CG Temple located in Nawaparasi district of Nepal. Shashwat Dham is the divine land and spiritual pilgrimage of Nepal. This is a place for spiritual learning. The temple is built in Khajuraho style of architecture. The surrounding is surrounded by the seven holy rivers of Nepal along with trees of religious importance like peepal, ashoka, veera that are used to make Ayurvedic medicine.
This is amszing chalange @czechglobalhosts 👍😍
Taiwan is famous for its tea particularly those planted high up in the mountains. This was taken on a hike at Chiayi in central Taiwan. I was hiking through these undulated tea plantations all day long and around me was this magnificent sea of tea plants criss crossing like knitting
