Hello fellow Steemians!

I am starting the week #70 of my 7 World’s Continents Photo Challenge and we are back to the continent of Asia.

If you like to participate, place your personal image from your travels in Asia in the comment section below with a short 30 to 50 word description. Only use of personal images will be accepted and only one picture can be submitted for a daily photo challenge. Ten winning photos will receive a bigger upvote from me and ten runners-up will get a smaller one.

Chosen from the ten winning entries, the absolute winner of the day will receive extended publicity in my post tomorrow morning. I will also visit his/her blog to upvote one of the most recent posts. The winning picture of the daily challenge will then automatically enter other rounds with the absolute winner gaining approximately 200 SBD in total. So far I have given out thousands of dollars in upvotes and hundreds of SBD in rewards.

After today´s Asian photo contest, the 7 World’s Continents Photo Challenge will be followed as per below rotation and then starting again with Asia on next Sunday.

• Monday: Australia and New Zealand
• Tuseday: Antarctica + the world’s oceans
• Wednesday: Africa

• Saturday: South America

See the winner of the last week´s Asian Sunday @vinceboisgard with the following entry:

Along the Hoogly river, the sun is slowly setting. The colours are very warm and this is the best time to hop on a boat and sail the waters to enjoy the view over amazing temples built on the river side.

This is a photo I took at Phnom Bakheng near Siem Reap of Cambodia. The 2 monks in bright orange robes form a strong contrast with the grey towers. So I turned the background into monochrom with color splash. It's also interesting to catch the young dynamic monks and the old static temples in one frame.

Wahiba Sands, Oman
Today I want to share with you a picture I took a few weeks ago on my travel around Oman. It shows the sunset in an absolut incredible landscape. Sitting on a dune and watching the sun go down is something very special and I only can recommend it to you to try it out when ever you got the chance to.

View from Jingshan-Park down to the Forbidden City in the center of Beijing. The Jingshan Park, also called Coal Hill, actually is an artificial mountain. It was built in 1421 from the rubble of the Mongolian palace and the excavation of the palace trench.

One of the most fascinating thing about India is the architecture. If you happen to visit New Delhi, I strongly recommend visiting the old part of the city and the Red Fort. You will see beautiful arches and old construction there.

Location: New Delhi, India.

In Kandy, Sri Lanka, there is a temple called Temple of the Tooth, where the relic ot the tooth of the Buddha is kept. As visitors pass and peak to a small opening to view the relic, there is a huge table where offerings are placed, and prayers are made.

We can find a lot of old castle in Japan, this one is part of a big one in Osaka. It is surrounded by a wall and a nice garden overlooking the city. We can only imagine what it looks like back then when it was constructed.
