Hello fellow Steemians!
I am starting the week #78 of my 7 World’s Continents Photo Challenge and we are back to the continent of Asia.
If you like to participate, place your personal image from your travels in Asia in the comment section below with a short 30 to 50 word description. Only use of personal images will be accepted and only one picture can be submitted for a daily photo challenge. Ten winning photos will receive a bigger upvote from me and ten runners-up will get a smaller one.
Chosen from the ten winning entries, the absolute winner of the day will receive extended publicity in my post tomorrow morning. I will also visit his/her blog to upvote one of the most recent posts. The winning picture of the daily challenge will then automatically enter other rounds with the absolute winner gaining approximately 200 SBD in total. So far I have given out thousands of dollars in upvotes and hundreds of SBD in rewards.
After today´s Asian photo contest, the 7 World’s Continents Photo Challenge will be followed as per below rotation and then starting again with Asia on next Sunday.

Starting the day with a view: this photo was taken in the second day of 2018. And the year started with a great ballon ride, during sunrise. For what we were told, due to weather conditions no flights had been done for over a week, so that day there was a hue amount of balloons flying. We didn't had a clear sky, but with views like this... it wasn't a problem! Edit: photo taken in Capadocia, Turkey.
For more information about the 7 World’s Continents Photo Challenge and conditions see my original post: 200 SBD 7 World's Continents Photo Challenge - 2018 guidelines – 25/10 update.

The "Starlight Bridge" is located at the outskirts of Saigon, in a very quiet, modern quarter that makes you forget the hustle and bustle of the city centre. Once the sun has set, the bridge transforms into an artificial waterfall that is illuminated in bright colours - simply adorable!
excellent pic
Thank you!
wow absolutely brilliant!
Thanks a lot!
Macau is known as Asia's Las Vegas and since my last visit over a decade ago it has developed beyond recognition. I remember back then, all the casinos were run by local "businesses". Now many major international casinos on The Strip all have a foothold here.

This fellow is living in Indonesian national park Gunung Leuser. That is not a zoo, it is a natural habitat in jungle. Bukit Lawang is a great destination for trekking to this jungle and experience of being so close to wild orangutan is one of a kind to!

Sunrise in Wadi Rum, Jordan
On my way from Taiwan to Germany, I found some cheap flights that made it possible for me to stop in various countries over a time of two months for the price of a (semi-)direct flight. This is how it came that I only had one week to spend in Jordan, but I enjoyed my time there a lot. The Wadi Rum desert was one of the most impressive natural places that I visited on my trip!

I have also posted this photo on my blog.
This photo is from one of Vietnam's pearls: Halong Bay. Although the tourism pressure takes its toll, the landscape here is really incredible. And rowing among the great walls of stone that rise out of the sea is an amazing experience!
Hi czechglobalhosts,
The picture is Feom Shimla, the capital city of Himachal Pradesh. The city stays on Himalayan foothills and a very popular place for vacations in Summer and honeymoon spot too. Shimla was also declared as summer Capital of British India in 1864,. The picture shows the houses built on steep mountain lines.
Hope you like the picture 😊

Bangkok, Thailand. Wat Arun, a great playground for wide angle photography. This unique temple site just blows your mind. The love for detail on this one is insane!
Do you manage to keep track of all the entries? I am really trying to upload fresh content that I have not posted before on one of your contests. But after so many entries I can't say for sure if I have without going through millions of comments^^
I definitely try to but then I am only a human so I might miss from time to time:).....
Sure thing.
Bangkok - City of Angels
I was on top of the Bayoke Tower in the heart of the city when I took this shot.It was shortly before sunset and the air was very smoggy that day.
Japanese gardens are so quiet and relaxing. This one from Takamatsu also offers a boat ride popular amongst Japanese tourist. Personally, I prefer to walk the garden instead. It gave m time to reflect on life and meditate.
excellent focus of photography
